So, I am feeling a bit stagnant after the last year. We lost three people in a matter of four months, all of who were very close to our family. On top of that, one of those people had cancer and I watched it kill him over time. It's left me as a different person, as I'm sure anyone who has gone through this can attest to. But it has also left me a bit stagnant in my creation. I'm not coming here to look for sympathy from anyone but instead, wanting to maybe open a dialogue.

What are some things you would like to see on Patreon?

Are there ways I can make interaction better for you guys?

What is boring you in the story? What is exciting you?

I am opening it up here for some form of discussion in hopes that maybe I can spark some direction within myself. I want the excitement I had during book one to come back.

1. I would like to see more side stories, post chapter scenes, or sneak peeks. Maybe even snippets from the characters' past. I recently joined and I'm almost all caught up. I like everything I've seen so far. Since you mentioned the excitement of your first book, have you considered doing post chapter scenes from that? I'm still going through everything so ignore that if there are. 2. Some IF authors have posted weekly updates just to keep their audience updated on their progress or they share their process. I understand you can't share much progress considering your circumstances, so whatever you feel comfortable with is fine. I'd even be ok with updates like sharing your inspiration or feelings on characters or scenarios you created. 3. I'm not bored with the story so far. I reread what's been released and I notice new foreshadowing or new scenes I didn't get before. The gender for the Market does jump between they and our preferred gender a lot. I noticed that in the first book as well. There are also some scenes that end in dead ends and the Next button is gone for that branch. So far, I like what I've seen here and I'm excited to see where The Night Market 2 goes, but I also understand you are grieving and need time for yourself. I hope you find the inspiration you need.

I would like to see more world building for the series. What i want in particular is Characters (New or Old) in events before the first book. Like 100 years or who was the first civilization to be recused by the market?

I feel like you need to do some introspection. Try to remember what made you want to write this story in the first place. Was it the characters? Was it the mysteries and twists? Was it some specific scenes you had imagined? Whatever it is, you need to find it and see if you can reignite that spark. And if that doesn't work, then there's the scary reality that maybe you can't write this story anymore, at least not the way you originally intended it to be. The person you were a year ago is way different than the person you are now, which is completely understandable given all you've had to go through. But that can be okay, too. Maybe the new you can bring some ideas to the table that the old you couldn't. And above all else, I think you should just have fun. I find some of my happiest times writing is when I just tune everything out and write for myself. And a lot of the time that ends up being some of my best writing! At the end of the day, these are your characters and your story and I'll support whatever you decide to do 100%. That being said, I'm also really, REALLY ready to get our bodies back. I know that's kind of the whole point of Book 2, and I know you've been through hell the past year, but it's been a long, loooooooong time since we got to physically interact with the ROs, both in game and in real life. This isn't ment to be a criticsim by any means, just an observation. If you really wanna know how to keep me interested though, the answer is Belladonna. I would literally read a story about her watching paint dry I'm that in love with her (don't judge me lol).

Lo

I understand. I know you said you weren't looking for sympathy but you have my heart felt sympathy I had an aunt that had cancer, she was like my second mother. I went to all her chemotherapy and radiation treatments, she went in remission and then it came back, and well eventually took her from us. That being said I just wanted you to know that with me finding joy again came with finding my way back to laughter. It is the one thing that will help you heal and also bring you joy back to your life. Start with smiling. Even when you don't feel like you have anything to smile for. I also lost a very good friend to suicide. But please, just start with smiling. Everyday, even if you just gotta look in the mirror make a goofy face and laugh or smile at yourself. Your writing is amazing! I have only a few IF writers that I just hang on your work like a desperate person hangs on the words of someone the love. And you are one of them. I have a thing for characters who act, feel, or think that love can't be a part of their lives, and Belladonna is one that I just attached too, and love endlessly. I would pay you separately just for stories about her. But just remember you are amazingly talented and if you have to work some of your pain into your writing because that will also help you process your loss and your feelings. If I've said to much just tell me and I'll apologize. I just love your work, and it breaks my heart to see anyone go through tragedy.

I hope u start feeling better, ur writing is amazing ❤ I rly love the story so far. This is In my top 10 IF! I always appreciate more flavor choices; it's one of the big things I look for 🤓 but the story itself is already so compelling! I'm a big fan 😍
