Hi friends,

actually this song was originally recorded by Big Mama Thornton in 1952, and subsequently recorded over 250 other times but Elvis's version from 1956 is the most famous and I was inspired by that.

This arrangement of mine is a little more challenging than my usual arrangements, both because it is fast but also because of the cadence of the thumb on the bass.

Don't try to play the whole song from beginning to end right away; that way you will never learn it. Instead you have to study one measure at a time, very slowly, and only when you have played it well can you add a second measure. That's the trick.

Instead of memorizing it, try to always play with the tablature in front of you, it will take you less time.

Good playing!
