"STAY" by Jackson Browne | Fingerstyle Version | Printable PDF Tab/Sheet (Patreon)

Hi friends,

"Stay" was written by the very young Mauruce Williams and performed with his band at the time, the Zodiacs, it climbed the American charts and reached number one in 1960. It was a huge success and Stay went down in history as the shortest song (it lasts only 1 minute and 37 seconds) to reach the top of the US charts.

However, we know "Stay" above all for the splendid reinterpretation made by Jackson Browne and which was included in Running On Empty (1978), combined in a medley with The Load Out, transforming it into an invitation to his concert audiences not to go home, to stay a little longer and listen to another song.

Good playing!
