Hey everyone! 🎸

Today I’m sharing a very personal and emotional piece: an original fingerstyle composition titled "Restless Soul".

Written in the deep, resonant key of E minor, this track is a slow, hauntingly beautiful journey. It’s built around a poignant melody that floats over a rolling, arpeggiated accompaniment, perfectly capturing a mood of serene nostalgia and bittersweet longing.

Key Focus Areas in this Lesson:

Mastering the 6/8 Time Signature: We will dive into the unique, swaying pulse of 6/8 rhythm. You'll learn how to group your eighth notes to create that fluid, wave-like motion that drives the entire piece.

Fluid Arpeggios: We will work on keeping your picking hand completely relaxed to ensure the background harmony remains smooth, seamless, and perfectly balanced beneath the main melody line.

What’s included:

✅ Full Play-Along Video: A high-quality, close-up performance video (no-talking) so you can watch my finger placement, picking hand technique, and timing in real-time.

✅ Printable PDF Tab & Sheet Music: Clean, detailed notation specifically formatted to help you master the 6/8 timing and learn every single note at your own pace.

If you enjoy expressive, cinematic fingerstyle pieces that tell a story without a single word, "Restless Soul" is going to be incredibly rewarding to learn.

Download the PDF below, take your time with the tempo, and let your guitar speak.

Is it hard to step into classical guitar. I primarily learn from your arrangements on steel string. ???Im currently learning Pirates Life. Falling in love with the Classical and Spanish stuff you have.

You can start with the first fingerstyle lessons I’ve shared here; some of them are excellent for getting started. Alternatively, I recommend studying my book, "The 120 Arpeggios For Fingerstyle Guitar"—it’s also great for classical guitar.
