Hey everyone! 🎸

Today I’m excited to share my new fingerstyle guitar arrangement of the classic soft-rock masterpiece "If You Leave Me Now" by Chicago!

Originally famous for its lush orchestration, horns, and iconic vocal harmonies, this 1976 hit translates beautifully to solo acoustic guitar. This arrangement captures the song's warm, emotional melody and rich chord transitions in a single, flowing guitar performance.

Voice Leading & Chord Movements: Navigating smooth, extended chord shapes while keeping the soaring lead melody ringing clearly on top.

Tonal Balance & Dynamics: Controlling dynamics to mimic the lush strings and horns of the original arrangement using subtle right-hand touch.

Rhythmic Flow: Maintaining a gentle, steady tempo that lets the song's soft-rock groove move naturally.
