Hello friends, this lesson is for Patrons only, remember to download the PDF
There are many blues songs in A so in this second lesson you find the same turnarond of lesson 1 but played in A. Pay attention to the slides and to the barre A7 chord at the end.
A “turnaround” is a little musical idea that’s typically played on the last two bars of the blues (bars 11 and 12).
It makes the solo complete and take the listener back to the top of the song.
It can be also played like the intro or the ending of the piece.
I start this series of blues lessons with the turnarounds because playing these little musical phrases you will learn many tricks, guitar techniques and special chords, besides they are very funny to play.
Good playing!
