Hi friends,

here is the second lesson of my fingerstyle "Blues Shuffle" series.

In this lesson pay attention to the slides and to the rhythm of the bass notes.

I use "palm muting" technique on the bass strings.

The lesson ends with a nice E blues scale.

Good playing!

HI Nick, question regarding Palm muting, More pressure on just first 3 base strings and lifting palm barely touching or no touching other strings, I 'm also working a personal challenge ''All of Me'' for alternating thumb and speed, In this song , Is the palm technique identical?

GuitarNick

Hi Rene, usually for alternating bass the palm muting works for the three bass strings. You don't have to press the third string.

Thanks, I'll correct my hand position
