Hi friends,
this is a new great guitar lesson for you.
"Boom Boom" is a fundamental blues piece and I created this arrangement in which I concentrated the important parts of the song.
For this arrangement I listened to the 1962 version from the "Burnin" album, you can listen to it on Spotify.
I played the song at 140 bpm but don't worry for the speed, you can play it slower at 100 bpm and the song will be great the same.
In the first part there are lots of slides and ligatures; I played them slow at the end of the video to show you the right movements af the fingers. The most difficult passage is the one in B7, here I use the barrè with the ring finger. Play it slow at first.
In the third part I used the "alternating bass" guitar technique; pay attention to the movements of the thumb. I wrote the right fingering for the right hand.
Good playing!
Nick
