Hi friends

this blues has a different rhythm to the ones I have shared so far, in fact in this slow blues you will play 8 low notes in one bar.

This means that:

1. The rhythm will be slower than the previous blues pieces, in fact in the video I played first at 70 bpm and then at 90 bpm.

2. the low 8 notes in one measure will have the characteristic blues guitar feel. It utilizes a triplet based rhythmic division, where the 2 eighth notes are played in such a way, where the first eight note is held longer than the second eighth note. In the first two measures of the video I play only the low notes so that you understand what the right rhythm is.

It is important that you start playing very slowly to gain independence between the movement of the thumb and that of the other fingers.

The difficulty is precisely this: to keep the movement of the thumb while playing the melody and chords with the other fingers.

With practice and playing very slow you'll be successful.

Good playing!
