Love Cat Stevens. Interesting tidbit is that his "Morning has Broken " is in the public domain as it was originally a christian hymn.

A great song and arrangement. I was very happy to remember, and now play, this piece. Thank you Nick!

Like Jeff I too was made glad to hear this wonderful melody. Wow, it had been some time. We are all greatful, Nick, for your gracious help in arranging guitar music that is both beautiful and ever incrasing our own skills as guitarists. I'm still working through Focaccia Blues, but this one is definately next!

Nick, would you mind checking the TAB score of Father and Son? I'm usually able to convert your pdf to a Guitar Pro file and I'm having a bit of trouble with measure 10. I count the lead in as measure 1. The score shows two double stops but the tab has only one. I'm a beginner so this may be a misunderstanding of the music. Can you help me with this?

GuitarNick

In the score you don't have to play the second A note because there is a tie that unites them. The second note prolongs the sound of the first A, so there is a single double stop.

Dan Wemple

Yes, Eleanor Farjeon wrote it in 1931.
