Hi friends,

here is my fingerstyle arrangement of this song written as an ode to Denver's wife at the time, Annie Martell Denver.

I recommend that you follow the left hand fingering that I have given. If you follow other fingerings you may have difficulty with position changes.

Good playing!

Just a couple of weekends ago, I introduced my wife to “An Evening with John Denver,” the best live concert album ever made, and she commented that she wished we had an arrangement of Annie’s Song. I told her that the only John Denver in your library was”Country Roads.” Lo and behold, she wished it into existence and proved me wrong once again! Thank you Nick, for all that you do. I am a big fan of your arraignments and your original tunes. I am working hard to master all of your Spanish Guitar Lessons.

Thanks Gund, that means I'll be listening to more John Denver songs.

Thank you, Nick, for this arrangement. I'm echoing what others have said when I say it's one of my favorite John Denver songs.
