Hi friends,

in this new Spanish guitar lesson there are some interesting things.

1. the whole piece is played using the typical flamenco arpeggio for the right hand - p m i p m i p m - (p=thumb)

2. The first and second strings are always played open and this creates a fantastic sound effect.

For beginners:

if you have problems with fast right hand arpeggio do this: mute all strings with left hand and just play the right hand arpeggio very slowly for a few minutes. When you can run it without errors then try increasing the time a bit.

I played the piece at 160bpm but you should start very slowly, from 80bpm.

Good playing!

YES!!!! (spanish lessons) THANKYOU.. I really like and enjoy playing the middle passage which seems to be filled with such emotion. Just lovely. As always, can't get enough and its too short. :-)
