Hi friends,

we all know that "Mary Had A Little Lamb" is a popular nursery rhyme but Buddy Guy gave this title to one of his famous blues, also covered by Stevie Ray Vaughan on Texas Flood, 1983.

This is my arrangement for fingerstyle acoustic guitar. To make it more playable I just simplified some fast passages.

Good playing!

Always love SRV doing this.. I can't wait to give it go!

Struggling with the muted notes? How do you mute open string for example? Video seems like this is being played unmuted. Any one enlighten me? Loving it by the way.

I assume you're referring to the notes with x's. You just need to put your fingers on the strings, one finger per string. Hit hard to get the percussive sound.

Thanks that’s helpful, I can go back to Fly me to the moon as well now.
