Patreon Announcement (Patreon)

Hey Fans and Supporters,

I've been mentioning the possibility since I started Patreon, but they are once again arbitrarily going after me for vague content violations. I've attempted to fix the offense, but they are still giving me unclear comments implying they want to dictate how I spend my money. I'm not joking. I quote:

"Because you are raising funds on Patreon, we may be held accountable for what you do with those funds, so we may also look at what you do with your membership off our platform."

I'm deleting every link, post, and picture. I will continue to post the monthly voucher, but nothing else. As always, donating supports me as an author, and does not guarantee content or purchase it.

Even after cleaning out the site, I can't guarantee that they won't still take issue and ban my account in the end. That's Patreon for you. I set up my own native membership on my site exactly to get around this, so you can use that otherwise.

Sincerely,
