Dev Diary on Chapter 3! (Patreon)

There are a few major updates I’d like to share with you!

✨ First, I’ve changed my approach to AI backgrounds. Unfortunately, things with the background artist didn’t work out, so I’m still using AI — but with a twist. Now I create the base images in Sims 4 and then process them through AI to give them a painted look. I think this method feels a bit stronger than relying on full AI generation.

🦇 Second, after considering feedback, I’ve decided to remove the canon character poll and not include any additional canon characters in the game. This way I can focus fully on original content and also avoid any potential Hasbro issues.

Finally, some exciting progress news: all of the text for Chapter 3 is complete! What remains are the music, art, minigames, and a bit of expression coding — and then it’s ready.
