Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend.
I'm making this poll because I'm not sure if it would be good to continue with the "AU The Soldier Teddy" pieces after what happened last night.
I don't know if it would be appropriate to continue, can you help me with your opinion? I would like to know if you really want me to continue with this AU.
Thank you.

i really think that it's not a problem. It's a fiction, just art :o But if you're not sure, take a pause ;)

I think it's great Cris - why, what happened last night? Do you mean the mix-up about Airforce vs. Marines? Not a problem.

Jallen RIx

Ummm... I guess I don't know what happened last night???

Mary Calmes

You're celebrating a relationship and the joy of homecoming. Your art is not political.

I realize that the missile strike is very upsetting thing and while I understand your concern, I believe your art is celebrating something equally as important. Not everyone gets to come home so it’s important to celebrate those who do.

Kit

Celebrate the homecoming. Dig into the healing-- soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines don't walk away from war unscathed.

This is like comparing romance VS violence. I see what you're intentions are and I can see that they are very likely to do more positive influence than negative influence. Just remember you be youself and your decisions. ;)

Rebecca Clark

Hope everything is ok. I would love you to continue, but you should do what makes you most comfortable. I think the pictures are sweet.

Well this is why I was a little uncomfortable with it from the start- particularly how accurately you represented e.g. the uniform and the digital camo and all. Maybe maintain the military theme but distance it from being explicitly a reference to the US armed forces...using more generic blotchy camo like you see in cargo pants and shorts for regular civilians, and not using the specific logos and insignias...the underlying concepts are applicable to any military couple be it outside the US or a fantasy military that doesn't exist in the real world :s plus with the latter you can really do what you like artistically and mix and match styles (like the Spanish legion tropical outfits 👀 )

Personally, I think that you should continue drawing these. If it's something that you want to do, then do it. if your art makes people uncomfortable then that is their problem, not yours. It truly shows your compassion, since this question came up, But I agree with Kit, Rebecca, Carbon and Ross. Your pieces are celebrating the good side of a not so favorable situation. Teddy gets to come home. That is something to celebrate, no matter what your opinion is. I hope you continue this verse, simply because I love seeing you expand your verses ^_^

This literally has nothing to do with the real life conflicts there. Nothing to do with the politics. We come here for an alternate universe and that’s what we have here! Keep them coming! ❤️

And we should roleplay/write a fanfic about the verse -winkwinknudgenudge- But yes. I agree with what Lys said. Do what you wabt to do, draw what you want to draw. We all love your art either way. <3
