SIFTD Fantasy Challenge 2025 is LIVE! Make Your Picks! (Patreon)

It's that time of year again! SIFTD's official video game fantasy league for our patrons is live! Pick the 10 games you think will have the highest metacritic scores, become the fantasy champ of SIFTD, and win some free games!

Welcome back to the SIFTD Fantasy Challenge for 2025! The only video game fantasy league where you play for real prizes! This is the league's ninth year and the only requirement to enter is being a registered user of SIFTD at siftd.net. You can't make your picks until you've registered, so make sure you do that first. If the winner at the end of the year is a paying patron here on Patreon they win two games of their choice. If the winner is a non-patron they win one game. You must be a paying Patron when you submit your entry and continue as a patron for most of the year. You cannot become a patron at the end of the year once you think you've won to try and collect the second game.

We reserve the right to change prizing depending on where you live, though it will be of equal value. If you live outside of the US gifting games to non-Steam users is extremely difficult. This game is meant to be played in the spirit of fun. Please keep that in mind.

In this league you pick any 10 games that you believe will have the highest aggregate review scores at Metacritic.com. Throughout the year the Fantasy Challenge website dynamically calculates your team's score, so make sure you bookmark the page and check back to see how you're doing as the year goes on. Whichever team has the highest aggregate score when we record the last episode of GameFace in 2025 will be declared the winner.

When making your picks be sure to remember that the order you pick games is important. Picks are weighted with your first pick having the largest multiplier and it cascades on down to your 10th pick. Make sure you select your ringers first. Like in our official video game fantasy league, if you pick a game that isn't released in 2025 you get a zero for that game. Be conservative and try to pick games that you're sure will be released before the end of 2025! No one has ever won the SIFTD Fantasy Challenge without having all 10 games count. Here are the tiebreakers should they be needed:

1. Highest Individual Game Score2. Highest Number of Games with a Score of 9.0 or Higher3. Highest Number of Games with a Score of 8.0 or Higher4. Live Coin Flip on GameFace

The draft interface was graciously created by sifter Lashiec so give him thanks in the comments below. Without him the league wouldn't happen!

That's it! While SIFTD staffers will be playing alongside you, they cannot actually win the league. Best of luck to all of you and let's have some fun!
