Reminder! Changes Coming to SIFTD Patreon Beginning July 1, 2025 (Patreon)

Greetings!

First of all, we want to take a minute to thank you for supporting SIFTD for the last decade! That's right, our little media company just celebrated its 10th Anniversary! The truth is, we couldn't have done it without your support. Without patrons like you we simply wouldn't exist. We can't even begin to express how much we appreciate you!

If you've been watching or listening to GameFace for the last month or so this news won't come as a surprise because it's been mentioned many times, but if you've been busy and have missed the show we have some news to share.

Things have basically stayed the same on SIFTD since launch. While we've created over 40 different shows in our 10 years, the cost to access our content early has remained the same all this time. Unfortunately with the current economic climate we've been forced to increase the monthly cost for exclusive access to our content by a single dollar per month. This is our first-ever price increase in a decade. Beginning July 1, 2025, the monthly cost to access all our content early via the SIFTD All Access Tier will be $5 instead of $4. None of the pricing for other tiers will change. You'll still get Pachter Factor for just $2 per month. The Ask Shane Anything tier will remain at $7, the GameFace Give me Credit tier will remain at $30, etc. If you're OK with this change, you don't have to do anything. You'll automatically be charged the extra dollar in July if you're pledging at the SIFTD All Access tier.

We've done everything possible to not raise prices and that's worked for 10 years now, but we've finally reached the point where we have to do it to maintain operations. We wouldn't do this if we didn't have to. One other small tweak is that the exclusivity period for GameFace will move from four days to three days. We've tried to be generous with our patron exclusivity periods compared to other gaming content Patreons, but it's ultimately been to the detriment of our business. Four days is simply too long for timely content like a news and reviews podcast to be locked away from the public. It's kept our views down and stunted the growth of our business. Three days is still more than the vast majority of our competitors. Hopefully you understand our position on this one!

We truly appreciate your support of SIFTD through our first 10 years. If we could have gone another 10 years without raising the price we would have. Here's to hoping these changes can help us keep the lights on and grow our business so we can offer even more content to our awesome patrons like you!
