Hail to Starscream

I gotta be honest, I hate how the lightning round is just squeezed at the end of the show since Gameface has changed. It used to be a (big) part of housekeeping and that was usually my favorite part of the show. Or just in general when you guys talk about news or the newest events in the industry. The game reviews are often about games I am either not interested in or about games I already started playing myself, so that the review doesn't have much value for me. I would love to see a return to bigger segments about news and events in the industry.

Thank you for your feedback! We spend as much time on the weekly news as we always did. The segment you're referring to used to be called The Big 6. At max we would tackle six news stories per week. We often tackle far more than that in The Lightning Round. We only cut stories with minimal interest. For example this week we didn't have time for a story about IGN interviewing Dan Houser. Fluff basically. It's also a little confusing because you say you skip topics for games you don't care about, but the weekly news could also be about games you don't care about. Maybe you think we don't spend as much time as we used to because it's now at the end of the show instead of the beginning? We make sure to include timestamps so you can jump directly to the parts of the show you want to watch. Thanks again for the feedback!
