(GORE) Comic YCH - "Good as Glue" [OPEN] (Patreon)

something a little new for today!

for context, "In Cold Blood" was my original script with the victim spot up in the air, to which a client picked it up much like a YCH! since then I've thought about writing down scripts (that often includes my characters) and offer them out to folks who'd like a comic from me but don't have any ideas.

this first one features my horse fella Nova as the victim, YCH is for his executioner. Will likely offer out to the public is not claimed in a week or so. 
two characters total, can potentially have a third side char that I only request be a horse to stay on theme with the scenario. no solid rules for the executioner, I will only allow minor tweaks to the dialogue to fit the character's cadence (if any) but would rather not change the script. overall western feel with some animal processing themes.

"GOOD AS GLUE" (DRAFT) - 4-6 pages

CW snuff with bolt gun, bondage, blood, can potentially have gore/dismemberment.


1:

—artsy three-panel: text panel, exec: “bring in the next one!” - Nova’s shackled hooves walking to the right. clop/clanking onomato - Nova reveal, restrained and being lead by hand with a bridle/lead, crouched/head low.

—two-panel: Nova’s muzzle showing his lead get clipped to a post. tink onomato - semi worm-eye pov from behind Nova on his knees, executioner looking down and loading new round into bolt gun. exec: “three limbs, that’s no good.”

2:

—two-panel: bust shot of Nova facing right and slightly upwards, almost pleading. Nova: “y-yes sir, please help me, I’m suffering ..” - exec’s hands closing gun. exec: “how much?”

—establishing panel: back view of Nova from the neck down showing his back, one restrained arm and his amputated stump and shackled hooves. Nova: “very much, sir …" "I-I’m as good as glue.”

—long panel: shot of exec’s hand holding chalk and drawing an X between the eyes/ears to find the bullseye. exec: "then there’s no use letting you live on in misery."


3:


—establishing panel: pov from exec’s view looking down on Nova, bound, crouched and with X on forehead. he’s looking to the floor. exec: "it’s a real shame …"


—two-panel: exec’s hand coming from the right and cocks bolt gun as it points up - exec’s hand lowers gun to Nova’s forehead as he gazes upward to the left in fearful anticipation. 


—establishing panel: pov from before but zoomed in, exec holding gun to Nova’s head, Nova staring back at camera. exec: “you were the purdiest one here.”

4:

—artsy two-panel: POMF! onomato - Nova’s head thrown back, eye wide/rolled, mouth agape and light blood gush from impact point.

—long panel: impact shot of Nova collapsing to the ground on his left side. THUD onomato.

—establishing panel: bird-eye view of Nova’s dead body lightly twitching on the ground at exec’s feet, his blue blood in contrast to the red blood on the floor, exec’s hands in view reloading the bolt gun. exec: “next!”

WAYS TO MAKE LONGER:- add victim in beginning: comic opens with a separate victim being shot, collapsing and dragged away before exec announces "bring in the next one". +1 page- slaughter/glue processing sequence: we see a brief sequence Nova’s body being processed for glue: suspended/blood draining, butchering, bones being boiled, finished glue product that’ll probably be a *Nova themed Elmer’s glue ripoff. +1 page

*if you let me go through with the Nova glue brand idea, I'd kindly ask I get to keep the concept for character reasons and would happily make it into merch in the future, in which I would give you a free thing as a thank you. shirt, sticker/charm/button, whatever I decide on for that. if you decide you don't want me to do this, then the panel at the end will be generic glue bottle just to get the message across.
