The Raven and the Swan

I finished a book and revisited The Last Unicorn but in comic form. The novel remains my favorite version, but the comic was very beautiful. Also I binged Shadow & Bone on Netflix and liked it a lot. I was sick last week but received sweet shakes and smoothies.

10/10 march sucked. But I turned 36 on 3/6 which made me feel it could be a good year going forward.... Also, I was told I was the nicest person to work with in my company. So kindness goes a long way even in the most abject of circumstances! <3 I hope you're doing okay <3!

Emily West

I painted some marvel miniatures and started a dollhouse :)

Also one of my cats ate less and less for days, but it turned out to be gastritis and easily remedied with a shot to ease his discomfort.

Roz Mosis

Pre ordered Dredge and looking forward to playing it!

awww u've nothing to be sorry for :( <3 i'm sorry march was so rough. it's ok if u don't "do ur best every single day", that's a lot of pressure. u're not alone either!!! my main march thing was getting covid for the first time the whole pandemic Dx but i recovered! so that's a positive. :) i watched all of "succession" while i was sick, and i had fun following these awful rich ppl's lives. and a couple days ago i got to see a friend i hadn't for awhile.

Aiesha Little

Sorry you're experiencing this. Also, sorry because I don't have anything good to share. I'm calling the first quarter of this year a wash. We're starting 2023 over this Saturday! lol

Arroz

Hey you don't need to apologize for anything! We care more for your wellbeing. Just relax and do what you love cuz what you love we love. A wise woman once said "you are worth more than what you can give to other people. You deserve love too!" ❤️

Em

March has been rough here too but my good for the month is that I finally started knitting a sweater (goal of mine for a long time) and it's coming out so well! So that's the joy I'm holding on to right now.

Zoe Alden

I went out of town to visit with family for two weeks, & it was so excellent to spend so much quality time with my cousins (who I stayed with). We made a trip to the local yarn store so they could pick out yarn for socks Im knitting them (socks are my commute & tv knitting)

Sarah Senseman

Princess I really think you are holding yourself to an unreasonable standard. I’m constantly amazed at the quality and quantity of your work. A good thing for me this month is I found a funky table lamp I love for my new apartment.

Robyn

Sending you lots of ❤️! I just turned 31 this month too! Tbh the past few months have been rough but we got this! I discovered the anime Trigun Stampede and honestly it has made me so happy. The final episode for season 1 came out and I can’t get enough lol. I guess seeing a series where the protagonist is just good and gentle but also badass is what I needed 🥰 The character of Vash also just speaks to my nb heart somehow and I love it.

Well, it wasn't the worst month but I keep looking back to where I was a year ago around this time and the fact that I'm not in that place anymore indicates it's a bit better so, there's that. I hope your April is better and the rest of your year provides to be more productive and healthy for you. However that may look. 🖤

Good things: my partner got foot surgery for some kind of inflamed tissue that's been causing her pain for over a year now, and her recovery seems to be going well! Also, I'm a LRR watcher and I really enjoyed the new EDSC that you were on with Becca Scott!

What's_Left

Good things: I was able to visit one of my close friends on the West Coast, I saw two of my favorite musicians in concert, I got clarity on important connections/relationships in my life. Also, I went to the dentist for a routine check up and there were no issues so there is that.

bub

Just turned 32 this week and started self-employment life earlier this month so am also in a self-doubt spiral lol. You are not alone! But I had an unexpected phone call with an old friend that got me in good spirits. Hope something similar comes your way soon. Happy Aries season!

Symone West

Love you Princess please don't beat yourself up your well-being has to come first. Good thing: My favorite K-pop group is doing their first US tour in May and I just bought tickets

Ry

Princess! Sending so much love and well wishes for the rest of this month to be sunshine and the rest of the year to be a year of thriving! Please don't apologize, you are incredible! We are here to support you because we love your work and want to support you as a creator but more importantly as a person ! March has been a month of chaos BUT I finally got a few jobs lined up after months of being unemployed and being unsuccessful in finding work! So I'm super happy to be making income after being stressed for so long! Also, this month I got a surprise check in the mail! So that was really cool lol

Jphilli

Good things : my fiancée and I picked a venue and we’re getting married in a castle!!! I’m trying to argue for us to have capes on some royalty shit lol I’m having another niece or nephew! My mom had surgery and she’s recovering well! My birthday is around the corner ( Taurus gang ♉️) My friend got engaged! I’ve been feeling a lot of the same feelings. My fiancée always tells me “you’re past yous dream, and future yous accomplishment” and I’ve been trying to let myself feel that. You’ve put out some great content, and I’m very proud of you!

Anna Maria

I hope your April is 100x better! Sending good vibes 🌈 A big positive thing that happened for me recently was that I got to attend an LGBTQ film festival that was screening a feature film I co-edited. That was super cool!

Keegan Sullivan

Finished up 3 books this month which was pretty rad. Finished up the 3rd floor of my Mega Dungeon for Dungeon23, and been making plans for GenCon this year since I had an adventure outline due. So pretty solid. I'm sorry your month has been rough and hears to things improving soon.

Cara Rowen

Good thing: my uncle's birthday was really nice and I got to send time with my little cousins. my youngest cousin told me she's also gay as hell. And we were all able to reassure her about coming out/being open to my uncle, which was nice because the rest of us could not come out to him as children. Since she's been around he's become so much more accepting and actually a really good ally. I'm happy for her to have two loving parents who will support her.

Toni Rizzo

March started off with me getting sacked from my BS retail job that made me miserable. I got a small severance and it freed me up to look after my elderly parents and expand my art portfolio while I look for more work. Frankly, it was upsetting, but in a much needed way. Hope our Aprils take off with the wind up from march.

Tasha

I found out I'm going to be an Auntie!

Daniella Lumpkin

Always appreciate your realness and vulnerability, Princess! I hope that video helped release some stuff for you but know we’re all out here rooting for you! I’m sorry to hear you had a shitty month, I definitely feel like something weird was in the air the last couple weeks. Sending you positive vibes and any extra spoons I’ve got! Something good: planned a trip for next month with my best friend to go to LA. I haven’t seen her since September when she moved back to CA so very excited.

Samuel Nguyen

I just started seeing a therapist.

Nora Hammen

I signed a lease for my first apartment which I'm moving into with my friend! Also started a new job that is very positive, queer-friendly, and tasty (cupcakes). I'm always amazed by the content/art you put out and totally understand having personal stuff making that very self-driven process difficult. I've been trying to make basically my first youtube video and get bogged down by the sheer time and effort so often

Austin P. Smith

My Good Thing: I have finally decided to leave my school (after four years) and teach somewhere new in the fall. Everyone in my life (family, friends, co-workers, therapist) has at one point or another said I deserve better, but I have stayed out of fear and guilt. There was another incident that wasn't even that bad but it reminded me of why I complain about my boss so much, and in that conversation, as I was being talked down to and disrespected as an educator and a queer person, I decided I'm done. I updated my resume and submitted applications for the hiring process for this fall :) I'm nervous and I'll miss my students so much, but it's time!

Austin P. Smith

And a note to Princess Weekes if you happen to read this, you and your content are worth the wait, every time. I'm sending you my best wishes and my care, and letting you know that you have plenty of fans here who respect your work and aren't going anywhere. Also, if you ever want to hang out or get a drink or something with my queer circle, I know this is a super weird invite but like, we're fun and gay and the offer is there now if you ever want to meet new folks in the city :) Lady Emily can vouch for me that I'm safe and not bonkers lol I go to a lot of queer comedy in Brooklyn, so consider this an open invite!

John Turner

PRINCESS!! THIS TOO SHALL PASS AND YOU'LL FIND YOUR WAY OUT OF THE PIT! I PROMISE!! My good thing is I've been fucking thriving since mid February and here I am on my bday and hearing that those who've wronged me are getting their asses fried!! I'm LIVING in this moment and I hope that you feel better very soon. Always love your content and you!

run_away

I'm moving out of the neighborhood I've been physically attacked in twice and into what seems like a chiller spot. Moving sucks but I'll be better off afterward. Also, my cat turned 14 today and is going strong!! Hope your April is better than your March and your May is better than your April and things keep skating uphill.

Sergio Augusto

We had a show! After a long time of singing a lead in an opera production one of the cast members caught the plague the day b4 opening. But they got better a few days earlier and tested negative so we were able to do it!

Ginger Barlow

I got to see Six on stage for the first time and Fiddler on the Roof on stage for the first time, both in this month! They were both incredibly to see on stage, totally worth it. I also got to go to a book signing for Samantha Shannon's new prequel to Priory of the Orange Tree and it was really great to hear her speak on her process!

Meghan

The sun came out after a record-breaking number of cloudy days!

Hermione

I’m totally like you in that whenever I accomplish something or something good happens, I’m mentally preparing for the negative thing that is coming in the future. It’s a habit Im trying to break. My good thing: I went to a Zumba class last weekend and I was surprised at how much fun I had! I’m an introvert who lives alone but I’ve realized I need a weekly dose of light socializing to keep my mental health afloat. Ps: love your content whenever you’re up to sending it out. No need to apologize, taking care of you is priority number one.

Heck Porter

March was wild. I got fired unexpectedly from my then-current job. I got hired less than a week later at a new job, a dog boarding kennel, and I’m really liking it. Working with dogs is perfect for me.

Ellenbrenna

This entire month has been a pile of trash on fire except I reorganized my room and I am now bathing in the light reflecting off a clean and empty floor. Take care of yourself.

Synnifex

Finally wrote a new chapter of fanfiction after a two-year drought.

Bunny

I’m getting ready to take two trips. In April I’m going to Salem and Boston. In June I’m going to Seattle.

sunlit_music

I'm sorry March was bad for you. :( One of my relatives came up with a cool dumpling recipe that was really nice.
