What's your favorite Mist reward? The one you always pick for your Romamus.

(If you got two or more in-game, choose the one you'd pick if you could only pick one).

Maybe I'm crazy but what is a hubris call? I don't recall what it was in the story 😂

Wrap Wrapowy

Whoever chose the "None" option, I'm saying this completely sincerely, from the bottom of my heart. Coward.

I have no intention of accepting anything from someone I want to murder

Warpotato

I usually get Hubris Call followed closely by the info. Gold might be cool but getting the maps is proving dangerous and gold can’t stop a blade. If my Romanus could take the gold and just…leave. Like stop being a mercenary. Oh, he’d do it in a heartbeat But we all know Romanus isn’t a mercenary for the money

Information always and forever Imo it's the most valuable option and you get to learn a lil about characters which can prove advantageous later on

100% Agree. Also I'm a lore junkie who eats all that backstory info up like it's a buffet! XD

I'm exactly the same! Plus information gives clues and clues fuel my theories and I can't wait which will proven to be true

Brianna S

Can a kiss be an option?

Chai

Hubris Call because honestly I have a feeling it'll be interesting later on in the story (Like if Tarrek notices it).

not even for the satisfaction of killing him with the weapon he gave you?

MumblesSKS

Hubris Call everytime. Information is definitely useful but I have a sneaking suspicion that we have a lot more scraps in our future and a newer and better weapon is always handy

Warpotato

Also, how is it possible to get all three rewards? Is it possible? You said you could get two or more so I was a bit confused

It is. You need the coin, the gauntlet and to have made the deal with Cynthia and let Lance (thus, Mist) know about it

Warpotato
>>144913970

But that would require me to ignore Beka. I’ll never abandon my new child

anathemafiction
>>144913970

It's the deal you make with Cynthia in this book, not the first one. You just need to be very persuasive 🤣

Sydney Marsing

I appreciate the _option_ of gold being included, because obviously Mist would put that on the table and obviously a lot of people would take it--I like being able to push the button that says "No, my Romanus would see the option of wealth and decide this other thing is more important,"

aa

I took the blade. Firmly believes that the extra combat stat is going to aid me later, extra plot around the blade will also be interesting. Initially I want to take information, but I need to reveal too much about myself to get some really "interesting" stuff and it was not worth it in my opinion. Also the coin could also serve a purpose in the future so I won't spend it here.

is gold even used in this game or the previous one, the only thing i've bought are treats to eat

New bug report for you! I was able to talk my way out of a fight with Cynthia like you said and everyone got out unscathed. However, when Hadrian when to comfort Romanus, it describes him limping over to her. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I hope it helps!

You caught it! I was wondering if anyone would. Yes, I completely forgot to write a non-limping version of that scene! I'll write it and add to the game next update. Thank you for reporting the bug 🌹🧡

I've replayed the demo more times than I can count and haven't seen it. How do we get it?

anathemafiction
>>144898603

You have to ask Mist for the weapon. Have the coin, gauntlet or make a deal with Cynthia in Chapter One and you can pick one or more rewards

Hey, it's in part because your lore and fight scenes are so good. More information = more immediate lore and a good weapon = more potential bad assery in combat later. Definitely picked gold as my second sometimes though.
