Hello! I have a few ideas about this month's bonus content, but alas, none of it... appeals to me as of now. So, I thought we could do another Q&A! I feel like it's been a long time.

Ask me (or the characters) anything you'd like! If you don't have a question, use the prompts I linked in the Cherry Prompts or make some of your own — just please direct it at one character.

I've been getting a lot of Patreon asks on Tumblr, which I can't answer — because it'd spoil the story for those who haven't read the Alpha — you can ask me those questions here!

They can also be NSFW questions or prompts. ♡

Thank you to all who participate! I usually have so much fun with Q&As, so I can't wait to start this one. 😊

Always a good time with these Q&As. I'd love to see more glimpses of Romanus with each of their Origin friends, Henry and Eliza, Piki and Benz, and Benji and Mai

For Lance, I'd be curious to know what it was like to sing in the monastery versus what it's like to sing now? Related-ish, some of my favorite moments in the game Pentiment involve the monks singing.

Will Romanus and RO have the option to have a happy ending if they do choose? Such as like with Hadrian wanting to be a carpenter and Romanus joking about "future children?" Same with the other ROs? Will there be an option for them and Romanus to explore a different life besides mercenary work etc? Will there be the bittersweet ending and will there be the pull my heart out ending? I got to thinking about this after I spoke with you earlier. Because in every game I've played or IF I've read there's always those three endings. The good ending, the bittersweet one and the fuck just kill me now ending because I'm sobbing so hard I lost my favorite character ending XD. I've done that several times when. I was least expecting it a favorite character of mine will have a death just out of nowhere and I'll be devastated

Warpotato

Oh I was just thinking about this! I had a fun little prompt pop into my head the other day and now I got a chance to ask it! I’d love to see a little story about Alessa eating something really spicy and trying her hardest to appear unbothered

A.W.

I love a little sick fic 🤧. You’ve done a few shorts with an injured/sick Romanus , it’d be kind of fun to get one with the ROs. Are they good or bad patients? Do they like being taken care of when they’re ill? Do they still push through a terrible fever despite being told they need rest?

Sydney Marsing

How would various RO's have handled it if they'd developed a mark like/instead of Romanus's? How different would they have been as characters by the time they hit Book 1?

Heppards94

I would love to know the softer side of the RO, specifically Nia. I know she has a pretty exterior and struggles to show her softer side but I'm absolutely weak to see her interact with OP in a nonsexual way.

Aidan Koch

What are the RO’s first instincts when imminent danger is present?

Brianna S

I’m always interested in childhood memories, particularly Neia beginning her training as a inquisitor and Lance’s and Hadrian life in a monastery.

I’m not sure Ana can answer this due to spoilers or due to the fact that plans may not be set in stone but it’s a good question. I wouldn’t be surprised if she can’t answer this though.

Red Phoenix97

What gesture would each of the ROs consider most romantic and how specifically would they react?

Erin Harding

I have a question for the author! Are you familiar with the book series His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman, or the concept of daemons? If so, I am very interested to know what daemons the main cast and Romanus would have!

Yeah that's what I thought too. But doesn't hurt to ask right ? :) Ana's very sweet about answering things mine this in a gentle way. I mean like she lets you know in a kind way that it's spoilers and she can't answer it right now. Sorry if that doesn't make sense I'm running on line 4 hours of sleep 😴

Nessy Lovegood

For all ROs, do they have any small nitpicks with their partner (Romanus) that just drives them on edge? Like what's the word uh.... Pet peeve! That's the word! I know every Romanus is different but I'm talking about in general. So for example I hate when someone plays with their gum and blows bubbles.... And ugh ... I find it so unsanitary. That's a pet peeve of mine. Especially when my husband does it on purpose just to bug me XD

Zo

How do the ROs or just Alessa feel about hickeys 👀

Zo

Ana, Do you find it difficult to write so many different characters? Do you have a favourite to write?

Imani

I'll bring up some potential nsfw prompts since my general Qs would be more multicharacter. I don't know how accurate this would be currently, but I remember an old tumblr ask where it was revealed Vallen loves books- including spicy romance books, so I'm thinking a prompt teasing over that. Or: Given how Vallen is said to be light on her feet, and the new update with her meeting, I'm curious for a scenario of Romanus chasing her in the woods just for the thrill to see if she can be caught- especially a hunter origin Romanus. The other prompt ideas I had were from the answers of previous nsfw QAs but- When it was mentioned that the altar of a cathedral would be Vallen's preference for unconventional location all I could think of is: abandoned cathedral/church. The specifics could be anything- lone choice for a stop while on a mission, ect. I just like the implications~ Also liked Neia's answer of a prison cell lol, even without the cell, the concept of Romanus and her roleplaying the interrogation of an alluring innocent is too good to ignore.

Question, Where does each RO draw the line morally? How close are they willing to get to it, what could compel them to cross it? Prompt, Romanus observes a stranger flirting with Alessa. Overwhelmed with jealously, they boldly interrupt the conversation with a possesive display of affection. Thank you and I can't wait to read the q&a!

I'm feeling so dead inside, there's no thoughts in my brain, zero inspiration, so... thank you for asking this 😌😌😌

So NSFW prompt: Hadrian giving Romanus an after sex massage. I suspect Hadrian is good with his hands so I imagine a massage would be nice from him . So Romanus and Hadrian have had a passionate round of sex or 2 or 3... Who knows? And Hadrian just sensually massages Romanus in a soothing way. To ease the tension from the passionate love making. For Lessa: my prompt is not NSFW but sweet. Romanus is acting sus and being Romanus Alessa can't figure out what they're doing. Romanus is Romanus and says they have a surprise for her. A day at the beach by the ocean. Picking up shells and having a picnic <3 For the Pirate King: since I feel like the pirate king hasn't been getting much love ....*sad face.* Romanus is being playful. So let's say Romanus steals the Pirate Kings clothes when he's bathing. And when he gets out he can't find his clothes or his "peach." Only to find the too big clothes on her and idk if he wears a pirate hat or not but is at the front of the boat pretending to steer the boat. Where it goes from there is upto you . But I just thought it was a fun idea

Seagull3

For Alessa: “anyone touches you, says anything to you, so much as looks at you the wrong way- you come get me, and i’ll set them straight. understand?”

Makes sense. My response wasn’t actually meant to apply to you. I just meant to warn people to avoid them being too disappointed if she can’t answer by giving a warning if that makes sense.

Makes sense to me some authors are very dismissive when it comes to spoilers and aren't exactly nice about saying so.

Sydney Marsing

Dang it!!! I keep forgetting to ask this on Q&As until it's too late. Posting it here mostly as a reminder to myself for next time: I'd like to see more scenes of Romanus and the non-romanced ROs just hanging out and being best friends. Specific example: something like Ysabella and Sarcastic Romanus just whipping up a storm of witty banter for the sheer joy of seeing who "loses" by cracking up laughing first--or to keep their minds off a looming problem. Good luck if anyone accidentally stumbles in and gets caught up in it before they can switch modes back to being Serious Adults taking the real situation Very Seriously.

shrek4ever

I don't know if you are still taking questions and prompts, but I thought of one snippet suggestion: Romanus being possesive of the Pirate as he is of them, i think that'd be interesting to see
