Once again I lied. Once again I'm not sorry about it.

I told you my planned release timeline was sometime midweek, but I'm the most fortunate developer in the world and have the best proofreaders out there.

It only took two days for them to correct the last 11,000 words and send me their corrections. The first 16,000 were in my hands some days ago, so I used those two days to fix what they found (and add music, sfx, etc.), and I almost corrected the script in real time for the second part, looking forward to finishing as soon as possible when they told me "It's done".

And they said it.

Their corrections have been added and I'm now compiling the game and will upload it in the next hour or so.

So, I can publish the real schedule:

  • Meemaw and Martha's tier: TODAY December 15th (before Spanish midnight)

  • Norah's Tier: December 19th

  • Emma's Tier: December 22nd

  • Daphne's Tier: December 25th

  • Erika's Tier: December 28th

  • Scarlett's Tier: December 31st

It wasn't planned specifically, but I'm happy every tier will get the update in 2024.

Remember to visit the Changelog and the Table of Contents. to be aware of what you will find in the update.

Lol I meant said, basically, merry Christmas!! I'm not Christian though, so instead I say Happy Holidays because Hannukah is the same time frame as Christmas!! You should take a rest and spend it with your family, not working!!

Happy Chrismukkah! (I loved that quote from The O.C.) I have free days on the 25th and 26th, those are the family days here. The rest of the days are normal working days (half day on 24th and 31th). I'm not a Christian either (or any other religion) so I "celebrate" it because of the family, not because they are any special day for me or for my wife. Happy Holiday Season, my friend!

Oh God no!! In the US no one works on the 24th except convenance and grocery stores!! I love the celebrate it all mentality!! It gives a very unity vibe that is necessary in the modern world!!

Hanukkah starts at sundown Christmas day so it's almost as if the "religious" stars aligned this year!!

Here, it depends on the region. In Central and Western Spain, most people don't work on the 24th, but everyone works on the 26th. In Catalonia, we don't celebrate the 24th (unless the family has Castilian roots), so we go for lunch on the 25th to the parents' home and on the 26th to the in-laws', and next year we do otherwise. I'm an uncultured man about any religious tradition (Christian, Jew, or whatever) so, for me, it's only another family meeting. That's why I spent my free days before the Holiday Season, I don't mind working on those days, and my coworkers can take their remaining days to spend with their family (especially if they need to travel).

Oh fuck!! You're Castilian?? Do you wish for secession from the Spanish government?? Fuck that's probably way too personal and confrontational even if it's not intended that way!!

Metal Man

For me the holiday season is about absolute love and acceptance no matter ones beliefs!!

Metal Man

Jewish, Christian, Islamic, Polytheistic, none of that ultimately matters!! What matters is how we treat one another!!

I'm Aragonese-born (the region between Catalonia and Castille) and Catalan-raised. My father was Catalan and my mother Basque, so I'm from nowhere and from everywhere. The ones wanting secession are the Catalans, not the Castillians. I don't have a strong opinion neither for or against secession, since I'm a practical man and I know that, if it ever happens, my old eyes won't see it. So no need to worry or take a position. Returning to the religious thing (less controversial than politics 🤣), I agree. In every religion, or in people not practicing any, there are good and bad persons. I respect any belief and the right to believe in what anyone thinks it's right. At the end of the day, as you say, it only matters how we treat each other.

Thank you for enlightening me!! I understand more of the ....plight of the average person of the world this way and am not beholden to my culture's way of being!! I, personally, believe in the fluidity of everything, including God's and the search for true freedom!!
