Some more news, pausing billing, and a Scarlett render (Patreon)

Let’s start with the render. I bought a new asset on the Daz store (the sand on her body), and I wanted to test it. My mind started to think about how I could use it, and it ended up looking like that. I’ve been out for some time, and I wanted to gift you a render. About Pausing Billing

Some of you have written to me (both through comments and by DM or Discord) about your disagreement with me pausing the billing for the next 31 days.

I understand what you say, but you should also understand my stance.

I always said I'm all for fairness. You guys support me, and I do my best to give you a good product as fast as I can.

I haven't complied in the last month, while you guys did.

There's a war going on, and prices are skyrocketing all over the world. Some people are struggling to make ends meet. The summer is almost here, and that could mean extra expenses for some players. I know pausing the subscriptions won't do much to alleviate their circumstances, but I feel that doing it is fair. I don't want any of you to think, "I'm struggling right now, but I can't cancel Trop's sub because he's also going through a hard time."

Some of you told me I should do a poll about it, but I feel asking subscribers in a poll isn't a solution. Some will think I'm a hypocrite who asks that question just so you'll say no to pausing. Others will vote knowing that I'll know who voted for what, and they don't want to vote for an option they think might make them look selfish. Others will vote out of pity for my situation. Obviously, others will vote sincerely and won't think there's anything shady behind the poll. It would also be unfair if the poll results were 51-49 for not pausing, since 49% of players would be charged against their will. That's why I didn't ask.

I’ve found a solution for both platforms (Patreon and Subscribestar), so those of you who still want to pay for this month can do it:

Patreon: I will enable the shop to sell posts for each of the tier’s value (except for Scarlett’s tier, since the lowest value Patreon accepts is $3). It will be a one-time thing (you can’t re-purchase it if you already own it), although you can purchase several posts (please, don’t do it). It won’t give you any tier benefits. I’ll publish a post with the links to the shop posts in the next few days.

Subscribestar: Subscribestar doesn’t have a shop, so the only option if you want to pay for this month is to make a one-time donation. I will publish a post with step-by-step instructions in the next few days.

About annual billing (Patreon only): Some of you also asked what happens with the annual billing. According to this post, your annual subscription will be extended for a month:

About the news I talked about in the last post

I really didn’t want it to sound like a cliffhanger; I was only joking. The news is about the future, when My Dorm is finished.

You know, I had two possibilities for games in mind for when My Dorm ends. One of them, as I said previously, was developing a fantasy game set in the world of the DnD game, with our girls as non-romanceable NPCs and Farmer#3’s Son as the MC. The other option was a game set after My Dorm’s epilogue, so a bit futuristic (set in 2044-45).

The news is that I have made up my mind, and it will be the futuristic one. Don’t expect flying cars, though. During the long days at the hospital, while my wife was sleeping and I had only my tablet with me, a lot of ideas for that game started to pop up in my mind. I wrote the start and the end of the story, and a list of some key scenes. I wasn’t in the right mood to write My Dorm scenes, but that new game starts a bit darker (although it will maintain the wholesomeness of My Dorm).

Now I should put it in a drawer until My Dorm is finished, and will keep adding key scenes to the list as the ideas pop up. I don’t want to give a lot of details about it because a lot of things can change from now until My Dorm is finished.

About my wife

I left the important (for me) news for last because it isn’t good news, and I didn’t want to spoil the mood. The only good news is that pneumonia is almost healed.

The bad news is that the doctors have confirmed that she has breast cancer. It isn’t one of the most aggressive types, and it should be operable. It doesn’t have kidney cells, so the Kidney>Breast metastasis is discarded. But they can’t do anything until they know what the lump in her kidney is. We have a biopsy scheduled for Wednesday, and then we’ll start the waiting game. Obviously, the best news would be that it isn’t cancer, but the probability of it being cancer is high. The next good news would be that it doesn’t have breast cells, so they discard the Breast>Kidney metastasis and treat both of them independently.

@balboa2151 I asked the doctors about the video you sent me. They told me that what is referenced on it is for non-operable cancers, so they discard it for now. Both breast and kidney cancers should be operable if there is no metastasis.

My wife sends hugs (reminder, no groping) to all of you who have shown us your support in these tough times. I also send you hugs (I dare you to grope my hairy ass) and my big thanks.
