The future of War for the Outer Rim (Patreon)

Hey folks!

About a year and a half ago, out of sheer gall, hubris, pride, and maybe a little spite,  I had taken on the self-imposed challenge of writing an AU for The Last Jedi since, well, I wasn't exactly impressed with Disney's final product. But now that Rise of Skywalker has come out, the time has come for me to re-evaluate that idea, to self-reflect...

...Yeah, I can still do better.  :D

Problem is, I made the terrible mistake of writing the AU, War for the Outer Rim, in script format, blissfully unaware that it's painful to read for people accustomed to novels... which describes pretty much ninety-nine percent of my audience. As such I decided to convert the entirety of War for the Outer Rim into regular novel prose, and re-titled it "The Knights of Ren", which you can read here with an added prologue:

Of course, having already taken your money to write the script fic, I can't in good conscience charge you for re-writing it. As such, WOR episodes up to and including Heroes on Both Sides part 1 will be converted into Knights of Ren chapters for free, and written on my own time.
