About "Polar Outpost":

Polar Outpost «Aurora-7» had long been one of many unremarkable research facilities lost in the endless frozen wilderness.

Its personnel were studying subglacial samples when, one day, all contact with the base was lost. Weeks later, a distress signal was received - along with a short, fragmented message:

«...fro-stite... living ice... crystals... like flowers... inside - structures, like cells... they grow... evolve... merge... turning into... [static] ...they move... they hunt... please... don’t come near... it hears us... it’s... already... inside...»

After analyzing the transmission, it was decided to send a rescue expedition to Aurora-7 to determine what had happened and, if possible, recover any survivors.

Upon arrival, your team was attacked by aggressive ice-like creatures - apparently the evolved form of the life mentioned in the message.

Most of your team was wiped out in the first moments of the encounter. Four survivors, including you, managed to barricade yourselves inside one of the station’s remaining sections.

Now you must uncover what happened, survive, and find a way out before the cold consumes everything. Unfortunately, your group has used up all the ammunition, but in your new shelter you’ve found several useful supplies that will help you hold out for a while.
