A major change in this update is the new item-based quest system. Previously, you had to choose one of several suggested items to resolve a situation. However, some of the suggested items distorted the logic of the scenario. Now, your entire inventory is available. Use whichever item you think is right. But remember - only one will resolve the situation.

About "Mining Complex"

For centuries, the Valley of Serenity remained untouched, pristine, and absolute. No cities were ever built here. No roads ever cut through its soil. Even wild beasts instinctively steered clear of its heart.

Ancient tribes held the valley sacred. Sumerian cuneiform tablets spoke of it as "the place where the earth dreams." According to the surviving texts, untold riches lay suffocating in the deep dark below: rivers of gold, veins of platinum, palladium, iridium, and osmium, alongside strange crystals that the ancients revered as the "gift of the gods themselves."

To most historians, these chronicles were nothing but myth.

The Corporation knew better.

The initial geological scans shattered every doubt. Beneath the valley lay a monolithic subterranean deposit, unprecedented in human history.

Within days, the Corporation seized the entire region. Within weeks, the earth was broken. What began as a remote mining outpost aggressively metastasized into a colossal industrial empire, known by a stark, utilitarian name:

THE MINING COMPLEX

Colossal drilling rigs choked the valley's skyline. Massive freight elevators plunged kilometers into the dark. The subterranean depths were aggressively hollowed out, honeycombed into massive sectors: living quarters, processing plants, thrumming machine halls, reactor bays, mega-warehouses, pristine laboratories, labyrinthine ventilation networks, emergency bunkers, and endless, yawning extraction tunnels.

The deeper they tore into the earth, the richer the yield became.

And the quieter the valley grew.

Months bled into months.

The Corporation was growing obscenely, terrifyingly wealthy. Every single haul brought to the surface generated fortunes beyond measure: pristine gold ore, flawless diamonds, clusters of emeralds, veins of deep ruby, platinum cores, and rare metals whose sheer market value eclipsed the budgets of entire nations.

Yet, the executives demanded only one thing:

Dig deeper.

And the miners fell in line.

Until Drilling Sector 14-B breached the impossible.

An ancient tunnel.

Its walls were unnaturally, chillingly smooth, bearing markings from tools that humanity shouldn't have possessed for thousands of years. The air inside was dead - cold and dry, as if time itself had refused to touch this place.

And at the dead end of the tunnel stood a monolithic vault, fused into the primordial earth.

Across its surface ran lines of ancient cuneiform.

The Corporation immediately flew in a specialist - a master epigrapher and historical linguist dedicated to ancient Mesopotamian languages.

He studied the inscription for hours, in absolute silence.

When the translation was finally finished, a suffocating quiet fell over the entire drilling chamber.

"THIS DOOR PROTECTS MANKIND FROM THE EVIL BELOW."

For a fleeting moment, even the executives hesitated.

But corporate greed won out.

Charges of explosives were set all around the vault.

The miners were ordered back to work.

The blast shook the entire mining complex to its core.

But what followed was infinitely worse.

The valley answered.

Deep beneath the earth, something awoke.

The tunnels began to shudder violently. Steel supports screamed under the crushing pressure. Overhead lights shattered in a rapid, snapping chain, and suffocating dust filled the corridors like volcanic ash.

And then came the sound.

A colossal, agonizing shriek tore through every extraction tunnel and ventilation shaft of the Mining Complex.

The valley screamed.

Within minutes, massive cave-ins sealed every main exit to the surface. Thousands of souls were trapped in the deep dark.

At first, panic was kept at bay.

The Mining Complex had been engineered for prolonged, autonomous survival. Stockpiles of rations, water purification systems, medical bays, backup reactors, and oxygen recyclers - it was all designed to sustain life underground for months.

The workers remained confident that rescue was imminent.

After all, the Corporation would never abandon an asset this valuable.

And then, the valley screamed again.

This time, the sound was close.

Angrier.

Alive.

And the minerals answered.

Gold ore melted and coalesced into grotesque, towering humanoids of shimmering metal. Diamond clusters calcified under impossible pressure, fusing into indestructible crystalline titans. Veins of ruby throbbed like bleeding, vital hearts. Emerald formations festered along the walls like a viral blight.

The depths beneath the Valley of Serenity were no longer dead earth. The ground itself had quickened.

The deep now had a pulse, it had teeth - and it wanted only one thing: to purge and vomit out the parasites.
