You have to pay for Youtube Premium to not get Youtube Ads hope this helps

That's not true. If the video is through patreon and you open it via the YouTube link, it should not have any ads on YouTube. The poster decides to put ads in every video. Mega 64 has made the genius decision to post a click bait video then also put ads when you open it via YouTube. If you don't believe me, open any of their other videos here on patreon, then click the YouTube link to watch it in the YouTube app. There will be zero ads. That's how patreon has always worked. We pay money for no ads on patreon videos. Mega 64 has decided to take our money and now also have ads on the YouTube launcher.

Patreon is literally designed as a platform to get special content ad free. Now we are getting people posting clock bait that's literally an ad. I mean, you don't care about this? You don't care if people start posting ads on patreon? Don't you pay for it? People like you are the reason YouTube is so messed up with their ads. I bet when YouTube starts asking for IDs to see content you'll be on board with that too

I'm not saying they shouldn't do these types of videos. I definitely agree that they should. I even enjoy them from time to time. I'm just saying I think YouTube main channel or their alt channel would be a better place than the channel where we all literally pay to not have ads
