Are there any weapons spoilers in this?

In regards to the comedy horror overlap, Junji Ito horror manga can have some gut busting funny moments

That’s funny, I just heard a double toasted interview with Zach Cregger and he talked about preffering to work with actors that had good comedic timing even though he’s been working on horror movies.

What did you pick? This is 12 days old ha ha so you gotta know!

I would like a discussion on Toxic Avenger but once the film is more available. It's really only playing in limited theatres, I believe.

Allow me to retort (please): When I talk about purposely arriving late to the theater, I average about 90 theater trips per year. If I can save 20 minutes per trip, that's 30 extra hours for me to enjoy more Mega64 content on Patreon! I am in no way condoning the theater chains on delaying the start time of the actual movie, it's just a reality I learned to deal with. I totally agree that it's wrong for them to say what the time is and then delay it more than 20 minutes. I can sense the audience get real restless when we approach that 20 minute mark. I also know that Fathom Events and older movies either skip trailers or shorten them. I'm with Rocco on that one that I shake my head when I see people arrive late for those. And when I mentioned that seats are assigned, I wasn't implying that it was a new thing. I know they do this at every theater now. But being able to get a premium seat ahead of time removes the requirement for me to arrive early to nab one of those seats. I arrive 15-20 minutes after showtime and I'm in my preferred seat.

But more importantly, happy 200 episodes! Your numbering got off over the years in the file name of the mp3, but this is your 200th Movie Club!

Barbarian was good enough for me to watch twice (one with the SO), and it's great to see not knowing what's it about. Really, that applies to almost all movies. But, when the monster is revealed, you're either in or out.

Hell yeah, do Toxic Avenger
