Great review! I recommend XXL, it does sort of retcon certain things from the first one, but its an incredibly fun movie. It has all the gratuity that someone who knows nothing about Magic Mike would expect from the movies and its a crowd-pleaser for sure, but its another one of those films that you can tell everyone who was on board was enjoying making the movie and that radiates onto the audience. Give it a chance!

Next episode is THE PRESTIGE!

What a great coincidence! I'm currently watching all of Nolan's filmography in release date order and this is next!

Sorry, I think I accidentally deleted my first comment. My positive feedback is that I love this series. As a consumer of many movie podcasts, I am ecstatic that you guys are in on the conversation. Of course, I get your critiques about movies on the main podcast, but I love this deep dive. The structure of sprinkling in trivia while you go through a plot synopsis feels natural. Going through the plot also helps people who haven't seen the movie. Good job and keep it up!

Bro it's casual not a written review in the New York Times. I get where you're coming from but let 'em talk without worrying about correct tense.

Neil Steffens

You're totally right, its just something they can incorporate into this and their podcast. Just a small piece of advice if they want to sound more like a movie critic.

You must watch a lot of folding ideas.

Great ending line to the episode.
