Not working for me either sadly - "the video doesn't exist"

mega64

Give it a few more tries- Vimeo absolutely sucks but some permissions got changed and it may change after a few minutes.

Sam Swain

Works now! :) Thanks legends!!

Jezred14

Chris Pratt as Mario was done specifically to fuck with Shawn

Last_colossi

Is there a specific reason why you guys switched to vimeo?

NattyJ

Charles Martinet is so 1985. It's Pratt's time.

Sam Swain

I believe they do it to get around copyright shite

Douglas Davenport

why the switch to vimeo? is youtube up to their usual fuckery

mega64

We've been copyright nuked too many times on YouTube/Twitch so it's better off the grid on here/Vimeo. We only really use Vimeo for archiving stuff that might get blocked or taken down.

Alex Risher

I don't understand all the Chris Pratt hate.

Boney B

Still not working for me...

Joe Batey

He's just so average and a shit pick for Mario when the guy that's done the voice for 20 years said he would like to do it in the film

Soggy Blankets

Its a mix of compounding issues. Ever since Guardians of the Galaxy came out he's been hollywood's go-to typecast for any role that is a charming, witty humored, attractive every-day man. Which is basically a list of nearly bulletin point on a list of adjectives you'd want to use to describe your protagonist in a money that you want to make you a fuck ton of money. And you can only see so much of so much of the same character in every movie before you get tired of the actor themselves. With the extra exposure that comes with being in everything it gave him a platform to talk about how he feels and whatnot. Basically he kinda came out with some pretty widely regarded douchey religious and political opinions. So the fact that he's a dick AND continues to be cast in every role possible.

Kerma

Best way I can sum it up is that the movie "Passengers" was originally meant to be a sort of horror/thriller film with a big morality play in the original script but then they hired chris pratt and it was changed to a romantic comedy without changing the setup or setting

Blake Wall

I swear to God if the Mario movie features Neil Patrick Harris as a not gay business man getting sucked into the Mushroom Kingdom I am going to stomp out the kitten I just rescued

Andrew

I laughed pretty hard at Chris Pratt as Mario, but the more I think about it, Chris Pratt IS Mario…basic and everyone knows them

The Majora's Mask talk hurt me, lol. It's my favorite Zelda by far, but it isn't super accessible. Especially for kids back in 2000.

Andrew Suazo

put the movie cast reactions part on youtube! I want to show it to people and those vids are getting a lot of views.
