We're done doing podcasts and stuff for the rest of 2022, but this meant that any Avatar 2 discussion would have kinda fallen between the cracks. Our viewers have spoken out that they DEMAND our IMMEDIATE thoughts on this long-awaited alien epic sequel, so we have convened in a secret BLUE location to give our thoughts, feelings, and whale-related emotions to you in a special Movie Club episode! Let's go back to Pandora and determine if it was worth the trip!

Next week we will get back to normal and watch UNCUT GEMS for real this time!

Honestly kind of selling me on it. I do love when a creator gets to do whatever the fuck they want, though Cameron has pissed me off by acting like his ideas are Objectively Good. Acting like your artistic vision is The One that Has To Be Seen is just a shitty take, though maybe hes just doing it to con the studios in to funding the rest of then.

Cameron is the king of the third act. That film and Top Gun 2 reminded me of what blockbuster cinema used to be.

All this whale talk reminded me to get tickets to The Whale staring Brendan Fraser.

I might be reading too much into it but I think what they meant was the whale “killed” his friends by charging them into a fight with the humans. The chief’s daughter explains to the son after he almost gets bitched slapped that the whales don’t agree with violence under any circumstances at all, even self defense

100%, that's what was meant. It's just clumsily conveyed.
