Considering how popular and how much I personally use these earbuds when I travel I decided to share my final, optimized settings for them to improve/fix their stock issues/limitations and fully leverage their audio capabilities.

You can connect these via Bluetooth to any phone/device, but they will of course work best on Samsung smartphones as they can leverage a proprietary SSC 24-bit/96kHz lossless and low latency codec there, along with additional configuration advantages so my guide below is meant to be used on Samsung devices but you can still use it as a reference for other devices if you have similar options there too.

Same settings will apply both for Galaxy Buds 3 & 4 Pro except for the custom EQ which will be specific for each of them.

First of all enter their settings and enable their ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) with Max Noise Cancellation as shown above (sorry for the Italian :D). This will remove most of background noise which is what you want if you use them going outside or when traveling.

Then enter the "Quality and audio effects" section as highlighted above.

Here enable the "360 Audio" option at the top for improved spatiality (especially with multi-channel tracks) but without Head Tracking (as it will unnecessary over-process spatiality based on your head movements, ruining music accuracy)

Enable "Volume leveler/normalizer" in order to have a consistent volume between difference sources (Stereo, multi-channel etc.)

Enable "Adapt sound to fit" option in order to improve sound accuracy depending on how your buds are fit in your ears.

Disable "Adapt sound" to not mess with frequency and accuracy of the EQ.

Now it's time to enter the Equalizer section highlighted above.

For Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

This custom EQ will fix the excessive treble of the buds while making them more accurate overall for music and general listening.

For Galaxy Buds 4 Pro

For the 4 Pro, the stock problem is the opposite: they have an excessive bass slope and treble roll-off with a darker tone, so this EQ will fix/compensate for that.

Go back in the previous section and now make sure you have UHQ high quality audio enabled in Advanced Quality Options:

Now, the only problem left I found is overall volume.

At least for my taste, I found both earbuds to lack a bit of "punch" and immersiveness when listening to energic music or watching movies even at max volumes.

To fix that, you can just go and download Wavelet for free. This lightweight app will provide additional audio controls which could fix that.

Play a song from any of your app and open Wavelet.Tap the gear settings button on the bottom left and enable "Legacy Mode" as shown above.

Now enable the "Limiter" option and enter its settings.

Here don't touch anything except disable Automatic post-gain and manually set a fixed Post-gain of 2.5dB. This will actually increase the master volume further without ruining all the customizations we did so far. If you hear distorsions in some loud music or movies, you can decrease the fixed Post-gain value a bit (like 2.0 or 1.5dB)

Make sure Wavelet is not disabled from background activity (by granting the app Notifications access and also disabling any Battery optimization for it)

Enjoy your Galaxy 3 or 4 Pro earbuds to the their fullest :)
