The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.

The game has an average HDR implementation with a fixed and not adjustable Peak HDR Luminance of 2.000 nits.

For this reason it is suggested to use Dynamic Tone Mapping in order to offset potential highlights clipping and lost detail in bright areas.

In the native PS 5 version, you can adjust the max luminance. Does this then make HGIG a better and more accurate alternative instead of DTM ?

There is general brightness setting and HDR setting also which is adjustable now.. Any update possible for proper optimization?

An update to this would be nice. As at least on PS5 are couple sliders to adjust. On my LG G5 it looks better with hgig than overblown DTM as DTM overexposes purposefully dark areas, but while the game is balanced and dark in hgig, the button prompts (ie the "X" to inspect an item etc) are full on very bright white that dialates your pupils and makes things hard to see when they come on screen. The only solution I can think of is completely lower the max luminosity from the max 2000?? I also found the "brightness" to be best at 50%. Maybe DTM + lowering brightness to 20-25 would be suitable
