Oh nice, new character growth. Loving the work and ideas being brought into the game.

Blake

I was hoping to see a transformation with this character

B.E. Grove

What sort of transformation (beyond the butt growth) were you hoping for?

B.E. Grove

Indeed! There will be a few of these.

Blake

Breast growth and giantness a great additions I like the main 3 we saw in this game so far. Looking forward to seeing more in the npcs. Honesty a male to female transformation for one of the guy npcs would be cool. A lot like what we saw in cursed when havvah turned into a girl

B.E. Grove

Well without giving too much away, I can say with the villagers we have plenty of BE with the girls... but we do have a MTF made for one of the guys as well.

Blake

Awesome this is super exciting news. Do u know when u plan to have this update released

B.E. Grove

Plan is by the end of month. My personal plan is to get all the animations done by the EOB tomorrow, and I get that done then it'll help solidify the timelines.

Blake

That sounds good. I hope in relation to the male to female animation there is further growth ample chest left me wanting more growth after Trevor’s MTF animation

That was an interesting WIP close-up. Since I’ve started using Blender a bit more myself, I find it extremely interesting. I’d love to know which Blender extensions you’re using (Jiggle, etc.). Right now, I’m working in Blender on modeling my own creations in addition to the imported DAZ figure, as well as environments. However, it’s still in the very early stages. I used Marvelous Designer during the trial phase. I’m not sure if it’s worth subscribing, but when I look at the rigid simulation behavior of DForce and general clothing... what’s your experience with it? Oh, and speaking of computers: How many devices do you use for all this work? I’m currently using a desktop PC and a laptop, but considering my output, I’m seriously thinking about getting a new PC after filing (and paying) my taxes. :(

B.E. Grove

Hopefully what you'll find in Bountiful will be enjoyable. Personally I'd love to see more Ample Chests. If there's call, I'd definitely be making more of it.

Ull

Super informative and great to watch! Love the technical and artistic sides of it all.

B.E. Grove

I don't use any extensions in Blender, just the included cloth physics. Mostly because I do all the animation in Daz (like a chump). From experience in Daz, Blender and Marvellous cloth simulations I would vote Marvellous as the best and versatile, but in many situations they're comparable. In terms of computers, we have 4 dedicated renderers, and my main computer also pitches in every time we hit deadline. Probably more than the PCs, the GPUs matter, wherein we're running 2 x 3090 RTX, 2 x 3090 Ti RTX and 2 x 4090 RTX. All desktop editions. It's really the only way I can pump out 60+ scenes, a month (which I definitely needed for last month's animation). I'd wager our electricity bill is akin to a bit coin miner, which is depressing on a couple of levels.

B.E. Grove

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed both sides.

Mayaeldred

Looking forward to it!

Amaz2k12

Wow, my friend, that’s intense. With 5 computers running constantly (mine typically run 24/7), I can only imagine what your electricity bill looks like—mine is already making my hair turn gray! As long as my eyes don’t start deteriorating too. But I completely understand, considering how long it takes to create even a short animation with everything involved. I’ll probably start using MD more too, even though it’s a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, Blender offers much more detailed options in just about everything related to DAZ. Unlike you, I mostly stick to animations for testing purposes at the moment, as my ongoing 4 comics take up most of my time. But I hope that with a new computer, I’ll be able to dive into animation more as well.

B.E. Grove

The electricity bill is eye watering, especially since I haven't even included Lady Grove's (decently GPU'd) laptop. But we can take it as a business expense so that mitigates... some of the pain. IMO the more you can learn about blender the better. If there was a reliable way to jump and keep consistent quality I would've already moved over.

lukas smith

Nice animations can't wait to see it done when can we expect the new update?

Redd

Wooooo. Yeaaa baby that's what I'm talking about!

SuuLucoa

My guess is sometime by next Saturday.

V

When will there be a release date?

SuuLucoa

BEGrove said "the end of the calendar month". So it's likely going to be released sometime next week.

SuuLucoa

What's "EOB"?

Dan-0

More of a general question with new update will we need to start fresh or can we continue from a previous save?

Lady Grove

Given the scope of the updates its going to need to be a fresh start for everyone I'm afraid.

Lady Grove

End of Business 😎 which lately has been well after my bedtime.

SuuLucoa

I figured. Besides, I could use a refresher.

SuuLucoa

Thank you Mrs. Grove. Now I get it.

Bertholdt Starkarm

Well, since we all know now one of the reasons, why the Lady choosed the lord - will he have a cameo VA in one of the games? ;-) And thank you for the insight of you work/art!

SuuLucoa

What do you mean when you said "it'll help solidify the timelines"?

B.E. Grove

The animation can take a long time. Especially if I come across a particularly difficult simulation. What is planned to be an hour can be half a day which can push out deadlines for deliverables. Once they're done it is easier to quantify how long things will take.

B.E. Grove

Very kind, thank you! I actually have played a number of characters in our library of content... Most relevant for the upcoming release I played the original H'var (before his... misadventures...) but also played the guy in Dating Rules and Spelling B.E.E. We are adding a little voice to this new addition of Bountiful Harvest, (though not full VO) which will feature (among others) both the lady and myself voicing various characters.

Bertholdt Starkarm

I place my bet: It will be Gergory (or will it be Gregory? Depends on the spelling in the townmenue or during the translation, just noticed). Have to confess: I don't remember Datin Rules or Spelling B.E.E.... time to dive into the archives! (And greetings to the lady, of course!)

SuuLucoa

Since Bountiful Harvest v0.2 is coming out at the end of the month, what do you have planned for September?

B.E. Grove

I didn't think they were that deep in the archive but both are from 2022 😲 Have fun!

Lady Grove

I am pleased to hear you are excited for the month ahead but for right now we're focused on the extraordinary amount of work going into the BH update. We'll let everyone know soon.

Viktor

Bravo 👏🏼
