The Pill v0.3.0 available here. 

It has taken a while but the next Pill update has arrived and this one is all about Trish! Our plucky new gal comes with 6 new animations, 5 new endings and over 500 new lines of dialogue.

The update is a foundation package, so it's a little rough and ready. Expect to see some story arc choices not yet available (indicated by a N/A), some animations that will be revised and the occasional potato where there should be a carrot.

In terms of compatibility, while as far as I can see there's technically nothing that will stop it from working with previous versions I'd highly recommend everyone starting a new game to avoid data corruption. If you don't and have issues my solution is likely going to be "wipe it and start over".

Let me know of any issues you folks have but otherwise enjoy this new addition to The Pill universe. Though maybe left of centre I like to think Trish adds an interesting element to the narrative as a whole.

just so you know when you take the second and third pills it auto skips the text and animations on trish that is

Hey Subply - I haven't come across that issue, could you give me a couple more specifics so I can try to recreate it? With the second and third pills are you talking in the BE or milk pill line? Plus are you starting a new game or loading from an old save?

Hi Fornax, there currently aren't any voices in there - Belle's is in the process of being recorded and will be added to the next (non-hotfix) version.

Hi, I'm on Mac and I've had trouble getting Trish's plotline to start. I select her in the character selection and simply get a black screen. It seems as if its loading, but I'm not sure.

I can't see trish, when i try to star my computer shut down the game, i have this error:[0820/182711.315:ERROR:http_transport_win.cc(175)]

That's a strange one. One possibility is that while the game doesn't need a connection to the internet, it does use basically an interactive website as its basis (with javascript etc). It could be if you have a firewall it could be blocking it? For a first step I'd say try rebooting the computer and seeing if that works. If not, see if your firewall is blocking it. It might also need to be run in compatibility or admin mode.

I've come across a slow loading issue on (particularly older) macs. On my old mac mini I use to test this it often takes over a minute to boot into Belle's storyline, and I know that people are finding Trish's to be slower still. Can you still boot into Belle's story in v0.3.0? I'm looking in to why this is but in the meantime what I've found rebooting the computer sometimes works, as well as closing and relaunching the program.

I'm happy to help play tester if there is anything I can do for you, as I'm on a newer MBP and experiencing the same thing. Starting a new game, everything works a-ok for the first couple routes, but the more endings and CGs I unlock, the longer and longer everything seems to take to load until I eventually get stuck on the black screen. Love this game and all the work you're putting into it, so happy to help troubleshoot however I can! Just let me know what you need.

Hot dayyum! This is the most fun I have had in the BE sector in ages! So sexy and so exciting choosing the direction the story takes. Thank you so much for this! I have no idea what is involved in the development of the game, but some mini-gts or fmg when their boobs are huge would be incredible! Have you considered those options at all?

how do I actually get this game to work? I get 3 icons, one saying game, one says icon one says signature. When I click on game I get a message saying "The application “Game” can’t be opened."

Hi Blur128, I've looked into this and part of the problem might be because macs have recently upped their security (aka their gated community of developers) which makes any non-mac store program harder to be authorised. https://www.askdavetaylor.com/mac-app-cant-be-opened-how-to-open-anyway/ this page gives a workaround for allowing unsigned programs to open on a mac. I've also found others have solved this error message by unzipping using a different program. If you're using Archive Utility, try using Unarchiver and vice versa. There's also a more code based solution on this page: https://superuser.com/questions/1345755/how-to-fix-the-application-cant-be-opened-on-mac if you're confident in that side of things. Let me know how you go.
