"The Experiencer" Color Keys (Patreon)

One thing I have to do every time we go to a new place is figure out a lighting scheme that will work with the environment-- and since basically every episode takes place in a new location, that tends to be a start-of-episode tradition for me.

The Experiencer takes place on the surface of Gnufte, a planet which I had already shown from afar on this page, so I feel a certain obligation to make the planet surface feel consistent with the way it looks from space.

I haven't totally settled on a lighting scheme yet, so I'll probably keep tweaking it up until the first pages actually get published, but I thought the many variations I had made on day and night would be fun to share!
