AWS Thumbnails, Page 0-1 (Patreon)

I've started thumbnailing the Actual Witch Society script that I posted earlier! I am often very lackadaisical about thumbnailing and probably end up skipping them 1/3 of the time in Softies, but for this 22 page comic I want to commit myself to thumbnailing the whole shebang so I have a sense of it. I'll include the associated text from the script for some context!

PAGE 1

PANEL 1/ ART: An establishing shot of Fuchsia’s bedroom introduces us to her. We can

see her bed,  bedside table, dresser, and door, slightly ajar. Her messy bedroom is littered with memorabilia of all her old obsessions. The most recent layer on this archaeological site of her interests, though, is the potpourri of witch themed products. 

A glittery horse poster is taped up slightly askew. Plastic dinosaur and pony toys have been hastily pushed out of the way on her bedside dresser to make room for her overabundance of candles. A pair of roller skates is shoved under the bed alongside a large basket of leaves. A tall pointed, witch’s hat sits on a bedpost. 

The characters’ speech bubbles originate from behind the door.

FUCHSIA: MOM, WHERE’S MY HAT?

MOM: WHERE DID YOU LAST LEAVE IT, HON?

PANEL 2/ ART: A closer shot of the door.

FUCHSIA: THAT’S NOT HELPFUL MOM

PANEL 3/ ART: Maintain same camera placement as the previous panel. Fuchsia

comes storming through the bedroom door.

SFX: SLAM

FUCHSIA: IS IT IN HERE?

PANEL 4/ ART: Fuchsia turns her head to see the witch’s hat.

FUCHSIA: AHA!

PANEL 5/ ART: Fuchsia comes bounding out of her house’s front door. The camera

views the house in profile, the front door towards the left of the panel and the street towards the right. Fuchsia is running with her tall hat and large overstuffed backpack on.

FUCHSIA: OKAY MOM I FOUND IT GOING TO SCHOOL NOW BYE

MOM: OKAY FUCHSIA, IT’S HOT OUT DON’T GET DEHYDRATED!
