PANEL 1/ART: The girls stand in a half-circle around the sun, laying on the grass.
MOLLY: OH
INGRICH: MY
FUCHSIA: GOD
PANEL 2/ART: Fuchsia, gleefully, covers her face with her hands as she looks askance at the
sun sitting on the grass. Molly lifts her finger anxiously to make a point.
FUCHSIA: INGRICH! YOU TOOK THE SUN OUT OF THE SKY! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT
MEANS!?
MOLLY: WE’RE GONNA GET IN TROUBLE?
PANEL 3/ART: Fuchsia places her hands on Ingrich’s shoulders, shaking her.
FUCHSIA: IT MEANS SHE’S SUPER MAGICAL
INGRICH: NOICE!
PANEL 4/ART: Close-up on an exasperated and fearful Molly.
MOLLY: YOU GUYS! WE ARE GONNA GET IN SO MUCH TROUBLE IF THE PRINCIPAL FINDS
OUT WE STOLE THE SUN!
PANEL 5/ART: Ingrich slaps a hand to her forehead. Fuchsia holds up her hands as if telling the
other girls not to panic.
INGRICH: AW, CRAP
FUCHSIA: OK, OK, UH, WE CAN FIX THAT….
PANEL 6/ART: Close-up on Fuchsia hands waving over the sun.
PANEL 7/ART: Maintain the same shot. Fuchsia closes her fists, and the sun suddenly
appears as a soccer ball.
PANEL 9/ART: The Gym Teacher suddenly towers over the girls, who whip their heads up
to him nervously. Fuchsia is slipping the soccer-ball-sun into her backpack.
GYM TEACHER: We gotta move inside, kids. It’s looking like a storm.
PANEL 10/ART: Close-up on Fuchsia from behind, looking backward at the ball in her backpack.

They’re all chatting. Fuchsia, Ingrich, and Molly stroll in the door.

STUDENT #2: DO YOU THINK IT’S LIKE, A SUNSPOT?
STUDENT #3: I BET IT’S NUCLEAR WINTER.
STUDENT #2: WHOA
PANEL 2/ART: Winona, sitting at the front of the class, turns around in her seat and
addresses the class.
WINONA: ACTUALLY, PROBABLY, IT’S A SOLAR ECLIPSE.
PANEL 3/ART: Fuchsia and Molly take their seats behind Winona. Fuchsia looks smug,
Molly looks nervous.
FUCHSIA: PSHH, ECLIPSE, YEAH RIGHT.
MOLLY: SHH FUCHSIA DON’T TELL!
PANEL 4/ART: Winona stares blankly across the classroom at Fuchsia.
WINONA: WELL THEN, MS. MAGIC, HOW WOULD YOU EXPLAIN IT?
PANEL 5/ART: Fuchsia, looking annoyed stands up on her chair to gain some height and
retort.
FUCHSIA: ACTUALLY, WINONA, I HAVE THE SUN RIGHT HERE IN MY BACKPACK.
PANEL 6/ART: Close-up on Fuchsia’s hand as she pulls the soccer-ball-sun from her
backpack.
PANEL 7/ART: Winona lowers her brow, unamused.
WINONA: ACTUALLY, FUCHSIA, THAT IS A SOCCER BALL.
