You can see that these pencils are way tighter than I've been doing recently-- honestly too tight, I'd argue. That's a result of me being kind of fussy about these pages!! Bad habit, do as I say not as I do etc.

I wanted to finish in 42 pages, and I also wanted the scene to be well served. It's kind of important! The result is some pages that are a little more frantically packed than the recent ones.  (one of the pages in this episode was like 5 panels of fish staring silently.) I hope (?) the effect is that the flow is punchy and a little tense (??) and a welcome return to our main characters talking after neither of them has spoken words in like a year.

I do know that the effect is that the episode is finished in 42 pages, tying it for Nitehox and also making it a satisfying number. Gottem!!!!!
