For better understanding, I’m reading Oscar’s biography, and I was impressed by an anecdote about his childhood, when before leaving for Oxford, he had this unnamed friend who listened to his speeches, as he was his (only) public. Oscar had no idea the friend was in love with him until the boy kissed him on the mouth at the train station. He never saw him again.
