Some people asked what the cables on their "ears" are for, and for example you can connect it to a device like a phone/tablet and manually write their current programming mission/instructions! You can tell them to do anything they can! (Although you are then responsible for the consequences).

You should only use them for relevant missions.. but if you want to you can have them do some personal requests too!
