Hey hey,

A slightly special post today, as I'd love to get your opinion about future books that could appear in the game. In Episode 3, you were able to obtain the first one, presenting the most common humanoid races in the world of Nazdranya, which you can consult at any time from the castle's library.

If possible, I'd like to introduce a new book of this kind in each episode, but before doing so, I'd really like to know your thoughts about their content (I actually promised to run this poll in Progress Update #09 of the previous episode).

So the question is quite simple: would you prefer more books expanding on Nazdranya's lore — for example, covering past events such as wars — or rather fictional stories set in this universe, such as more erotic or horror tales?

If a clear trend emerges from the votes, I'll make sure to include more books of that type. Otherwise, I'll try to keep a balance between the two approaches.

Now it's time to vote 👇, and see you next week for the next Progress Update!

Hey hey,

I'm not here to read, I'm here to be sexually confused about NYA moans! Jokes aside, if it adds to the lore, I'm fine with it, but I imagine a lot of people will just skip it.

I really appreciate the books . But still i just want to focus on the story line of the game and the books just make it simple.

Qwerad

I'm with Rmz on this one most will skip I'd read it personally so it's your choice.

Jawys

I'd have chosen both options (novels and lore) but only one can be picked, so I went with lore. Especially in a fantasy game more lore is always nice and it fleshes out the world, which is important imho.

AtemX Games

There will be both anyway, this poll is more to find out if I balance or favor one type of content.

Diaries of important characters? I consider that more as lore, or a story element if it relates to an investigation led by the MC, for example.

i thought more of a sorta follow up to events or interactions for other charecters. things you may not be able to organically get into dialogue, but already hadthought through a scenario. example: you stumble upon the diary of that dog girl from earlier, after freeing her and giving her SOME money, and you see entries about what she was up to in the background since you last saw her

I'd actually love a good book or two talking about the history and how the current geopolitical situation came to be over the past few centuries. Including how the king has historically interacted with his vassals, relative power levels, the evolution of law, religion, culture, and government would really add a lot of narrative flair and help ground and immerse the player in the world (it would for me at least). For example, when going to plead his case to the other lord for support in his fight against the king, he could point towards historical precedent, ancient clashes and grudges the lord's family and the king's family had in the past, etc. It would also help in many other ways in interacting with the people of the MC's ducal realm in understanding and better managing the nobles and commoners.

I would like to see more books granted once I read them, I may skip them when I play again but they will be a fun read, I am sure. I am still more interested in the budget book and how you will implement the Nobles and Commoners mechanics down the line. I feel like this game is going to be big gametime wise. I hope you stick with it. Always Fan was the greatest thing I played in AVN. This game I feel will be even better.
