Cheers - Pages 1-2 *WIP Sketches* (Patreon)

Sorry again for the delay. This comic was the reason for it, as I had to create the bar scene from scratch. It's not even finished, by the time the pages are done I will add far more details, the alcohol glasses too, and the entire town scene too. That will be a ton of work, but at the very least the inside of the bar will be reused throughout the comic. I have actually made a fantasy bar in the past, but it was waaaay too low quality to be ever used. But that's another story for another time.

And here we go, the next comic. It will be short-ish. I don't know how many pages exactly as I haven't finished converting the original story into a proper comic script yet, but I don't think it will be that many.

The main appeal is what happens on the first page and will happen a few more times later on. That is, a first person view. That's actually what the original story requested and I really liked the idea, thus I told the author(another 10$ patreon pledge one) that I will try to make the comic as soon as possible. As it turned out, from all the available story ideas people submitted, I liked this one the best for this months new comic. I have done first-person view panels before, but never to the amount that will be in this comic.

The main girl in this comic is the blue-red guardian girl that has appeared a few times in my patreon comic history. And I think I never uploaded her character design sketch too. I've also added the design sketch of two other characters from this comic, really minor characters though. The first the one in green-ish tint is the bar maid you can already see(somewhat) in these panels. At first I was going to draw a regular bar maid design, you would see when you google one, but I wanted something more "fantasy" like, thus I came up with a unique design. The other character is a sorceress, or rather a female wizard as I interpreted it. At first I was going to make an old guy, but then I read through the original script again and noticed he wrote "sorceress" instead of "sorcerer" and figured "Okay, time to get creative by making a sexy old wizard lady"

The guy is the same guy from the short story "Journey through Iona". So technically, this comic counts as the crossover that connect the setting of "Taking a Dip" and "The spoiled prince and the witch" which was another reason why I looked forward to making this comic. (I love lore stuff). One day I will make an official chart that shows how some of my comics are connected.
