Forgive if this comes across as a rambling mess, trying to verbally articulate my desires can sometimes feel very chaotic, I just want everybody to know what I have been pondering lately as well as why I sorta slowed down in August.

August I had a medical procedure come up and I had to do prep for it, afterwords I needed to heal from it, it wasn't anything major, just something standard, and I am feeling much better now thankfully. I had a colonoscopy and they removed something, I haven't checked my health portal lately to see if the results are back or not but my doctor thinks I am in the clear, and it's helped me a lot, I just had some touch and go stuff for a short bit with a worry I may have tore something open inside but its fine now.

During that time I've been thinking something over heavily, about the Patreon and my furry artwork, and how I would like to progress from here. I want to keep going but I also want to make something as well, something more then just uploading one off images, Ive considered doing comic stuff for awhile but I always back off because I get lost in the scope of it, do I make every page adult, do I tell a story, how to combine them and I've been jotting down thoughts and ideas in a note pad for the past month about how to approach it, and I may understand how I could.

How to approach an adult comic with lewdness, humor and some story to it, I tested the concept with two pages of Nathan and Sharon recently but I lost my train of thought how to approach it from there.

I think I wanna tell a silly story about my aged out porn star Sonny, how he came to be, his time in the industry, and his ultimate road to being a bum. But I also want to tell a story about Debra, and Nathan and even Valentine. Do I approach it as comics, or single pages with text, do I mix media, its hard to figure out what I wanna do or how I wanna approach this.

I'm not being absent on purpose, I just wanna really make something right now that's more then just posting a spread shot of Debra with some flavor text. I want to expand on things, improve my work and produce something I feel is worth your attention and support, but I have a hard time picturing and understanding how to do that very thing.

On the upside, I feel I am reaching a point I truly like with how I design characters and express them, making them a bit more cartoonish in the face has really helped while trying to find a balance with my old style and new.

Would anyone even be interested in a story about Sonny getting his start as a pornstar? Or meeting Debra Diamonds? Or perhaps Nathan and his boss, Valentine and her lewd memory book and recalling her romps with lovers.

The easiest solution is "just start sketching, get the idea down, that's the hard part, the easy part comes later with work." but deep down I would love to bring to life lots of these ideas that I tend to only share with close friends.

I thank you all for your support, I apologize for lack of content, but I don't desire to just fill up your in box with dribble work when I feel I can potentially accomplish something better for you, that's where I have been mentally. I want to improve as an artist and I want to make expressive work that can explore certain topics.

I feel like Sonny, Nathan, Debra and Valentine are great extensions of those feelings.

I think a comic about Valentine or Debra would be great. Maybe start with four page shorts then work your way up to longer form comics of 8 to 10 pages. I am doing something similar with my own characters currently and posting the pages semi weekly. I would recommend something like Obsidian to keep your universe connected with the character bios, comic scripts, and how the characters are relevant to one another.

Ohh a comic about a character's backstory would be super interesting to see! I'd personally be stoked to see a Sonny, or Nathan and Valentine comic.

I would be interesting in this comic about meeting Debra Diamonds, but it seems you have some reluctance creating the story. Is there something you feel is missing: the characters are not fully flush out yet; the story is not developed to have a linear path; are you concerned you may have to retcon the story or characters if you start now?

I'm down for anything you wanna make. But often the biggest roadblock for doing a thing can be thinking if you can do it. And sometimes a really good idea seizes you and you end up doing it anyway. I say do a short comic. A couple, even, to test the waters and try things out. Why not take SEVERAL ideas and see if you can condense them a little to get shorter term ones going? Start something!

If I had to pick a biggest fear right now, it would be starting the project and not finishing it. I've been mulling over a short story this past week of Valentine and Nathan, I jotted down notes for the first page or two, but got caught up with stuff during the week and other previous engagements I was committed too.

Taking several ideas and condensing them down, like short stories collapsed together? Like an event happens with Valentine and Nathan, and then a story later on happens to Nathan and it follows him into another one like Debra and then into Sonny? A series of lewd short stories?

I think I know how to make something featuring Sonny, at least for the time being, either introductions to him as a older man "like he is now" or when he was younger.

Yup. It is a wonderful note taking software that can both online and offline. Made it easy to keep track of my both D&D campaign setting of 30 players. And my comic series from scripts, characters, character relationships, work progress with collaborators. It is free.

Since it is markdown any other programs will able to read the files. The good part is that it all lives on your computer in a folder 📂
