Glad to hear you're feeling better! Take care of yourself. Also, I know you keep saying you hate long intros; if you want honest feedback I think having these little anecdotes about something weird that happened that day or some background at the beginning are fun. It gives listeners an insight to your personality and an intro to the type of podcast they'll be listening to. I've subscribed to pods based solely on the likability of the person/people speaking rather than subject matter. I like the user submitted stories too; nice, bite-sized stories that mix it up a bit. Might even be cool to put a couple of those in between two long reads to to break them up, if you're planning on doing a longer episode. Since you mentioned the music in one of the previous episodes, I think it's really fitting. The ominous piano music that backs your vocals are spooky, but also relaxed enough that it's not overkill or repetitive sounding. It kind of reminds me of Lore, but it doesn't put me to sleep or make me sad. I really dig the bell-like intro music too. Also your mom sounds like a sweetheart.
