Voting has concluded in my Ballot Box Comics initiative.

It was a close race, with just one vote separating the first and second-placed options.

The winning idea was Notel, about a town in Canada that did not get television reception until the 1970s.

I want to thank everyone who voted for the comic that they wanted me to draw next. Your support means so much to me. It is my crowdfunding supporters, and social media champions, who allow me to be a full-time cartoonist.

My comics are all written with my readers in mind, and it is great to have so many keen supporters. So, thank you.

And the winner is... (Ballot Box Comics 2017)

The voting period for Ballot Box Comics 2017 has come to an end, and we have a winner! The winning idea, as voted by YOU is "Notel", about a non-isolated Canadian town that quirkily didn't have television until 1973. Over the coming weeks, I will be focusing on the creation of this next comic, and - with help from my interns - be incorporating behind-the-scenes footage of my work as I go. Stay tuned for more from Ballot Box Comics 2017!
