Just curious on how you lot feel about the shading I have added into the most recent animations.Personally I quite like it, make my animations look more proffessional. However, it is a bit more work and I have to be careful with how much I animate to make sure I get it all done on time. So, let me know what you think. Also,Made a Blusky account for those that are interested in that and will be posting stuff there: https://bsky.app/profile/the-fudgeman.bsky.socialMy old Youtube got taken down. I tried to get it back but those at youtube wouldn't let me.So, I have made a new account where I'm just going to keep my animations unlisted and just link to a playlist with all the animations in for those who are interested in that:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmQ6MB0OlIfkxPsIlqHfDiJYtcr3ADx5BFeel free to share that around. It is missing some more problematic ones. (Like the Rias animation for example) But i'll be adding animations as they come out publically.

If you feel like it, your animations are some of the best out there, but if you feel burnout, what good is that?

I’m torn low-key, I love how the shading looks but I also don’t want you to burn yourself out on the animations, so I’d just say when ever you can/feel like it

It's ultimately up to you if you can handle the extra work it takes. I personally love it when an animation is like almost 30 seconds, has tons of wobbling, growth, belches, belly reactions and the ending loop. If putting the shading takes away from how much belly action we get, then I'd vote no. But again, you are enjoying it which is the most important part to making good content.

I’d leave it up to you if some of them do peak your interest with shading and if some don’t

thanks for the bluesky :) some of us refuse to go back to twitter so i appreciate the accommodation. for the question, just do yo thang. the people support you regardless

Dawn

I just followed your bluesky! This helps the people to understand who you are and I appreciated this Fudge! Thank you!

I think it looks nice, but if there's a tradeoff and we're losing time in the animation then I'd prefer no shading.

I think it looks amazing, but I REALLY do not want you burning out. The first ever account I was ever a Patron for, Ergos, retired today from burnout. I don't want you to go the same way.

It aint burn out. it just takes extra time to add more colours. i enjoy doin it so far

I think I agree with the sentiment, on just adding it if you feel like it. Animation is hard work, and adding shading on top of detailed art could lead to burnout if it feels like a requirement, which I feel it isn't. Your animations are already incredible as it is. Besides, I think shading is not a requirement for the quality of animation. Even traditional, hand-drawn animation would lack shading, since adding it would become a bigger workload, and it still gets to look amazing.

I think the shading gives the whole thing a little more depth and makes the videos look better and also if it's not quite feasible in terms of time, I have to mention that the two current animations have shown that it still delivers fantastic results but it is up to you
