Sleep deprived in some ways showed me the importance of meaning and what roll it plays in you doing stuff you dont want to do so you can enjoy something you do want later

sealLover123

I love listening to this instead of doing my tasks at work :))

Allison

I went from high-school in the beginning of watching sleep deprived, and now im out of college and work a full time job! Not to be gay or anything but you guys made my days really good when I saw you post!

Righful

I'm going to miss this group dynamic so much 🥲. Truly a historic run

loedje

These last few call ins have actually been pretty good, but what a great one to end on as well. That deer story especially.

Chris V

W gaper call in holy based

Awesie

That one caller inner was a true parasocial warrior, truly an amazing representation of all of the caller inner segments this show has had.

sharpedo 2

Why does every podcast I love leave me?

Angel

I’m in the 0.5%

Angel Just cant aim

Man, I graduated high school and I’m in college now. You guys genuinely helped me get through a lot somehow. This podcast gave me reasons to smile when things were rough, and I don’t say that lightly. I love the merch, seriously. I still miss the classic hat merch, it was so clean. I wish I’d gotten one. I’ve got so many photos wearing the Christmas hoodie, and it’s still one of my favorite hoodies of all time. I’m really going to miss this podcast. I loved it even when it got weird. Especially when it got weird. The drunk episodes were always a highlight too. I know we’ll probably never share a drink, but still. The thought counts. Schlatt, you genuinely helped me through some hard times. Your SMPLive streams and Cities: Skylines videos meant a lot to me. I’d love to see you do DayZ streams again, those were some of my favorites. You’re unironically a hero to me. Mika, Panda, and Aztro, you’re all hilarious and genuinely interesting to listen to. I don’t watch every Therapy Time episode, but the ones I’ve seen really did help. Thank you for that. I hope all of you make a ridiculous amount of money, and please don’t buy an island. Have a great holiday. Also, the Chuckle Sandwich episode with Mark was one of my favorites ever.

Riot Magazine

Virgin, 22, unemployed, no college, but atleast i have you guys

BEWARE OF PITY MENTIONNN

Kyle Neal

I remember seeing episode 99 get uploaded to spotify and telling my girlfriend at the time that Sleep Deprived were uploading their penultimate podcast, not realising she had fallen out of love with me months before and I was chasing up a wall trying to keep loving her, telling her all the random occurences in my day desperate to maintain an amicable conversation, too unexperienced with love to realise anything was wrong. Several breakups (including that relationship) and a lot of growing up later, I'm listening to my favourite podcast and telling my girlfriend about how it's reached its penultimate episode, and I sort of got hit with the realisation that I'm just so much better now than I was those 3 or so years ago - loving someone who requites it, feeling more secure over my needs in a healthy relationship and knowing that those needs are met by my beautiful partner. It's interesting how time and experiences shape us before we realise it's happened. I'll miss this podcast but I'm glad I've had it

loedje

missing out

sheeple

can gaper replace schlatt and then keep the pod going

sharpedo 2

EmmaDaBest

WellCookedChicken

I started listening to this podcast when episode 7 came out in 2020. At the time I was in high school and I would listen to it at my god awful dish washing job. I was a nervous unsure of themself kid at the time and this podcast has helped me push through a lot of annoying stuff in my life. Since then I've listened to you guys yap about bullshit nearly every day on my commute to college. Not to be all sappy, but all 4 of you guys have influenced what I do in unique ways. I'm nearly complete with a silly little photography degree and I am currently making a living off of my art. I know you guys probably don't think what you talk about has a lot of merit, but this podcast kinda showed me that I just needed stay with it even if I didn't see the point. I've now exhibited in numerous galleries and have shoots booked every weekend. Schlatt has taught me that I need to be intentional with what I do (shoutout weeklyslap), Miku has shown me how to view my experiences more critically (shoutout car drifting vids), Aztro has shown me I need to experiment with what I do like how she just does whatever on Insect Christmas, and Panda has shown me to not give as much of a shit about how I present myself. Sorry for writing a parasocial essay, but I'll miss this podcast. Thanks gang

sam

since i started watching sleep deprived i've graduated college and now im applying for med school! :) thanks for the years of entertainment and im excited to see where banana channel goes #gopeelers

Oof

In the several years I've been listening to this podcast I've become a different person, I've learned to live with change, with endings, with myself. This random media project you started on a whim has affected people more than you think, thanks for everything boys.

MegLads

Niko The Hippo

PLEASE DO ANOTHER MERCH DROP OR JUST REDO THE YOUTOOZ PLUSHES PLEASE I NEVER BOUGHT ANY CUS I THOUGHT I COULD GET SOMETHING ELSE LATER

er|n

Its honestly kind of silly how listening to a silly pod over the last few years has made me a better person but there really were a few times (especially when i was first starting college) where this felt like one of only a few things that i had to look forward to and i will always appreciate you guys for doing this and im super excited for banana channel

Sake

Hey guys sake here. This pod has been a constant for so many years at this point and has given me so many laughs. Along with the gaming videos SDP has just always been entertaining for me. I knew Schlatt and Panda before listening but both Mika and Astro bring their own great personalities to the channel. It will suck without Schlatt, but I'm still hopeful banana channel will bring something similar. Merry Christmas everyone

mmmmaddox

you guys have been such a pleasant constant in my life through all the changes and all the hard times and not to sound paraSOCIAL but i hope you guys keep doing well for yourselves and doing what brings you the most satisfaction and fulfillment

Stetavion

I looooove chili dude I made some the other day

tinytylerr

Throughout my time listening to Sleep Deprived, I can happily say I accomplished making a few 3D models, and now studying it full time while pursuing it as a career, whereas before I had no idea. I'm in a much happier place, and often was I listening to Sleep Deprived in the background while I worked and struggled to push through moments of it too. Thanks for everything, it's been truly great!

Daddy Dewey

SDP has been such an important constant in my life for the past five years. I started listening as a senior in HS, then through all four years of college and now I just started grad school in NYC. SDP was how I marked my weeks and when the pod took a week off, I’m embarrassed to say it threw me off. Looking back, I feel like a completely different person than when I started listening and it’s incredible to mark the time, seasons and changes of my life with the pod. I have been pursuing music this whole time and have made it now to New York to play professionally. Thanks SDP, I’ll probably be listening to this pod for the foreseeable future.

Daddy Dewey

What will happen to all the extended Patreon episodes that are posted here once the pod ends?? Is there anyway they could be available to download for personal use? I have been subscribed for quite sometime and would love to continue to listen to these episodes

Dylan

in 2021 i stumbled upon this podcast and gave it a chance because i’d known of schlatt before and now im 23 and moved from my home and was able to restart my life and take care of my mental health. you guys are all i would listen too when i would have difficult days at work or in life. yall are the only podcast/youtube group ive never gotten tired of . i listen to the yard and wouldn’t buy that patreon and i only got this for this podcast so another SDP W. been listening everytime im in my car and probably will for a long time in my life. please make these downloadable if you buy the patreon … my goats

BrettdK

I started listening prior to episode 100 (I think), sad to see sdp go but thank y'all for the laughs, Merry Christmas 🎄

Treefingie

I only started listening to this pod at the start of this year. But you four helped me get through the worst year of my life and I'm sooo glad that I found you guys when I did. I watched and listened to the SDP crew every time I felt fucking terrible and you guys always managed to make me smile a little. I am now feeling more confident than ever and also happier than ever. I've found friends (real friends), I've made memories (real memories) and you guys have been a constant source of joy through it all. Thank you twinsies for helping me keep my thoughts at peace. Love you. God is real. (i'm actually crying wtf)

Cupcake 21

Been listening since my senior year of high school. This podcast got me through some tough times in college. I am now 2 years post grad with a BFA. I travel the world and make art full time and I am currently applying to grad school. Thank y’all for building such a cool community and making awesome content to get through the hard days. I wish the best of luck with future endeavors and excited to see what banana channel has in store.

cereal eater

This podcast unironically means so much to me, listened every week at work for the past 2 years, generational piece of media that I will remember fondly on when I’m rotting away at age 120 in the beautiful Mongolian plains

aanachronistic

ghis is the gayest podcast ive ever had the misfortune of listening to

aanachronistic

ive gone from watching the pod in the background of roblox tycoons after school to watching the pod in the background of my rheumatoid arthritis pharmaceutical benefits scheme streamline script signing. Who want some free Adalimumab LMK

Cricket

words can’t express how much has happened in my life since i’ve started this podcast but i can say it’s helped improve my mood every time i tuned in and helped me out more than most things i’ve tried. it truly is the end of an era

fme

Truly the end of an era. I'm glad you guys are moving onto new adventures and taking care of yourselves. Been following religiously for over 3 years now, mainly for the pod. I can't tell you guys how many times I've listened to each ep. Sometimes I would just have them on repeat to get through the day and lemme tell you, some of the old ones are actually such gems that never fail to crack me up. You all definitely made my life a little better, no matter how cliché or exaggerated that may sound. I stopped actually watching most 'comedy'/gaming content creators ages ago but there was always something special about this pod. Despite all the jokes, I think we all liked the 'lack of effort', the realness. I'll be following Mika, Astrid and Panda over to the banana channel, so keep up the good work you guys <33

wes

Bangarang base WOW

Dyl

My biggest accomplishment was participating in an Iron Rain last year, some guy named Darrow called for it idk

Enderknight

I'm currently moving past lifelong anxiety and I can't overstate how helpful this podcast has been, it's strange I know but trust me when I say just having something enjoyable and fun to listen to can help with anxiety greatly

Joe

I started listening as a highschooler and im now a pilot and teaching others how to fly! You guys helped me through the hardest times of my life so far.

Evan Kingsbury

I started listening in high school, moved from the US to Hong Kong to Australia and finished University. I’ve gone through so many highs and lows listening to you guys and I can’t thank yall enough. Love you guys <3

tedsnerdsrope

I've been listening since junior year of hs. Since then I started community college, came out, and transferred to university. Thank you guys for being there during these years of transition, it's been really cool to grow alongside you and your content

Jaspro

Wow some harsh words in the call ins this week

bloodbornebustslider

I found SDP just completely randomly in my feed January of last year, and quickly binged as much as there was at the time and kept going onwards. the podcast found me at a time when I really needed it, dealing with a shitty job as well as just being a tgirl in texas of all places. and even though most of it is jokes and fun, the moments where everyone is genuine and actually just living in the moment, it made me feel just so much more human. I appreciate life as much as I can now, I love living and while its untrue for me to say it was all the work of SDP, I just want to truly thank everyone on the team, even outside of the big four. anyone who contributed to sleep deprived at any point whether moist or rift or etc, thank you all so so much. im enjoying banana channel and im extremely excited for the future.

ubl

Gaper is my lover
